Rise is the fourth studio album by American post-hardcore band A Skylit Drive. The album was released on September 24, 2013, through Tragic Hero Records. [1] The first single and title track of the album, "Rise", was released on July 31, 2013. [2] The full track listing was revealed on August 14, 2013. [3] Rise peaked at 41 on the Billboard 200. [4] A lyric video for the track "Unbreakable" was released on September 6, 2013. On February 21, 2014, the music video for the song "Crazy" was released as well. [5] On June 26, 2014, an acoustic performance video for the song "Rise" was released. [6] It's the first album without guitarist Joey Wilson and the last to feature bassist and unclean vocalist, Brian White, and founding drummer and backing vocalist, Cory La Quay, who both left the band in 2014.

On the physical Deluxe Edition of the album, only 3 bonus tracks were included. The only one that never went to the physical release was the demo version of Crazy.

Blessthefall is an American metalcore band from Phoenix, Arizona, signed to Rise Records.
The discography of the American punk rock band Rise Against consists of nine studio albums, two compilation album, eleven extended plays, twenty singles, four promotional singles, two documentaries, and twenty-five music videos. The band was formed in 1999, under the original name Transistor Revolt. After signing a recording contract with Fat Wreck Chords, they changed their name to Rise Against, and released The Unraveling in 2001, and Revolutions Per Minute in 2003. Rise Against switched to Geffen Records the following year, and made its major record label debut with Siren Song of the Counter Culture. In addition to becoming the band's first album to reach the Billboard 200, where it peaked at number 136, the success of the singles "Give It All" and "Swing Life Away" helped Rise Against achieve mainstream appeal.
Craig Edward Mabbitt is an American singer and the lead vocalist for the rock band Escape the Fate. He was formerly the lead vocalist for the bands Blessthefall and The Word Alive. He is also the current lead vocalist of his side-project band Dead Rabbitts.
A Skylit Drive is an American post-hardcore band from Lodi, California. The band has released one DVD, one EP and five studio albums: Wires...and the Concept of Breathing (2008), Adelphia (2009), Identity on Fire (2011), Rise (2013) and, most recently, ASD (2015). The band has toured internationally both as headliner and supporting act. In 2017, the band broke up after a dispute between Nick Miller and Michael Jagmin. Original vocalist Jordan Blake died in April 2023.

Jagmin is well known for his distinct high-pitched vocal style and possesses a high tenor voice type with a wide vocal range spanning over three octaves.

The song was originally recorded by the band for their sixth studio album, The Hunting Party, where it appears as the seventh track on the album. Produced by Mike Shinoda and Brad Delson, the track also appears on the single of the same name, which was released by Warner Bros. Records and Machine Shop on May 6, 2014. The single is the second to be released in promotion of The Hunting Party. White Noise is the debut studio album by American rock band Pvris. Pvris formed as a five-piece metalcore band in Lowell, Massachusetts in 2012. Following the band becoming a four-piece of vocalist/guitarist Lyndsey Gunnulfsen, guitarist Alex Babinski, bassist Brian MacDonald and drummer Brad Griffin, the group's sound changed. Bringing pop and electronic elements into their music, the band released a self-titled EP. After winning a contest, the band played a week on Warped Tour; following this, Griffin left the band. The group signed with Rise and Velocity Records in June 2014. White Noise was recorded with producer Blake Harnage. Harnage would help co-write several songs on the album with Gunnulfsen; Sierra Kusterbeck helped co-write a few songs with Harnage and Gunnulfsen.
"Tragedy + Time" is a song by American punk rock band Rise Against. The song was released on October 21, 2014 as the second single from their seventh album, The Black Market. According to lead singer Tim McIlrath, its title comes from the phrase "tragedy plus time equals comedy". The song is a playable track in the video game Guitar Hero Live.
