Roberto Gandolfi (14 July 1956 – 17 February 2018) was an Italian water polo player. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1984 Summer Olympics. [1]
Gandolfi was son of Renato Gandolfi, second goalkeeper of the Grande Torino and one of the only two survivors who escaped the Superga air disaster. [2]
Nikolay Mikhaylovich Maksimov is a Russian water polo goalkeeper, who played at the 1996 Summer Olympics, on the silver medal squad at the 2000 Summer Olympics and the bronze medal squad at the 2004 Summer Olympics. He was the top goalkeeper at the 2004 Olympics, with 67 saves. He competed as part of the Kazakhstan National Team at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Before his Olympic career, he won bronze medals at the world championships in 1994 and European championships in 1997.

Merrill M. Moses is a United States Olympic silver medalist, three-time Olympian, and three-time Pan American Games gold medalist water polo goalkeeper. He played college water polo for Pepperdine University, where he was an All-American and helped lead the team to the 1997 NCAA Men's Water Polo Championship. Moses is now associate head coach in water polo at Pepperdine.
