Robin Carlisle is a South African politician, a former Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament for the Democratic Alliance and Provincial Minister of Transport and Public Works. [1] He retired from political life in 2014.
Carlisle has a long career as a politician and activist behind him. He was a long-standing member of the Democratic Party, the predecessor to the DA, and co-founded ACTSTOP, an organization that opposed forced removals, during the apartheid years.

He deputised James Selfe from 2012 to 2019. Walters was the party's Shadow Minister and Shadow Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform.

Prior to this, she served as a DA Member of the Free State Provincial Legislature from May 2019 until November 2022. Aged 21 years at the time of her election to the Provincial Legislature, she became the youngest ever Member of Provincial Legislature in South Africa. Khakhau is a former President of the Student Representative Council (SRC) of the University of Cape Town (UCT) for the council term 2017/18. In this election she received the highest number of votes amongst all candidates in the institution.
Brett Norton Herron is a South African politician and attorney who has been a member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament since June 2024. He previously served in the house from May 2019 until February 2022. He also served as a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa from February 2022 to May 2024. Herron is the secretary-general of the GOOD party. He was the party's candidate for Mayor of Cape Town in the 2021 municipal elections.
