Robin James Das (born 27 February 2002) is an English-Bangladeshi cricketer, [1] who plays for Essex and the Dhaka Dominators.
Das plays as a batsman. [2] He scored 200 not out in an under-16 match in July 2018. [3] He made his Twenty20 debut 20 September 2020,for Essex in the 2020 t20 Blast. [4] In 2022,he was a substitute fielder for England in a match against New Zealand at Lord's. [2] He made his List A debut on 5 August 2022,for Essex in the 2022 Royal London One-Day Cup. [5] In January 2023,he was signed by the Dhaka Dominators to play for them in the 2022–23 Bangladesh Premier League. [6]
He made his first-class cricket debut on 26 May 2023 as Essex played against Ireland at Chelmsford. [7]
Das is from East London,and is a British Bangladeshi. His family are from the Sylhet Division of Bangladesh. [2] His brother Jonathan has played cricket for the Essex Second XI and Cambridge University. [2] As of 2023,Das was studying history. [2]

The Bangladesh Premier League 2023,also known as BPL Season 9 or Ispahani BPL 2023 Powered by Minister Group was the ninth season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL),the top-level professional Twenty20 cricket league in Bangladesh,organized by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). In July 2022,after the International Cricket Council accommodated the month of January and February for this league in its Future Tours Programme,the BCB announced the schedule of the BPL for the next three seasons. Accordingly,the ninth season was scheduled to be held from 5 January to 16 February in 2023. BCB also decided to increase the number of teams to 7 and to sell the franchise rights for 3 years from this season.
