Survivor is a reality-competition television franchise produced in many countries around the world. The show features a group of contestants deliberately marooned in an isolated location, where they must provide basic survival necessities for themselves. The contestants compete in challenges for rewards and immunity from elimination. The contestants are progressively eliminated from the game as they are voted out by their fellow contestants until only one remains to be awarded the grand prize and named the "Sole Survivor".
Survivor: Pearl Islands is the seventh season of the American CBS competitive reality television series Survivor. Sandra Diaz-Twine is an American television personality who became known for her appearances on the reality game show Survivor. She won the first two seasons she appeared on, Survivor: Pearl Islands and Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains, making her the show's first two-time winner. She returned for Survivor's 34th season, Survivor: Game Changers, where she was the 6th person voted out. Along with fellow Survivor contestant Rob Mariano, she was a non-competing mentor on the show's 39th season Survivor: Island of the Idols, and subsequently competed on the show's 40th season, Survivor: Winners at War, where she was the 7th person voted out and only player to leave the game at the Edge of Extinction. Diaz-Twine is regarded among fans as one of the greatest players on the show. She also competed on Blood V Water edition of the Australian Version of Survivor with her daughter Nina, which premiered in Australia on January 31, 2022.

The season began airing on September 5, 2005, and concluded on November 28, 2005. The major twist this season was that the tribes were initially divided up by the participants' ages. The Jong (Young) tribe was composed of the contestants age 30 and under and the Oud (Old) tribe was composed of contestants over the age of 40. Unbeknownst to the original tribes, there was a secret third tribe that consisted of two contestants, Esther Jacobs and Marnix Allegaert, who were in their 30s, who lived in an area known as "Secret Island". These two contestants were soon joined by Douwe Popma, who had been voted out immediately after a challenge. In episode 4, the two original teams were dismantled and the remaining players were mixed up into new tribes known as the North and South teams. With these new tribes, all who had previously been living on the Secret island joined one of the two new tribes in the game and Nicole Hendriks, who had been eliminated in the previous episode, re-entered the game as a replacement for the large number of contestants who had left the game. Along with the new tribes came tribal leaders, who were elected in each episode and were immune at tribal council.

Expeditie Robinson: Strijd der Titanen, was a special All-Stars season of the Dutch/Belgian version of the Swedish show Expedition Robinson, or Survivor as it is referred to in some countries. This season began airing in March 2006 and concluded in July of that year. This season began with a surprise "plank" challenge in which the winner would automatically be immune from the first elimination and would be one of two contestants to be "leaders" of a tribe. As the winner of this challenge Ilona van der Laan, along with Veronique De Pryker, who Ilona picked as the person she got along with the least, picked their tribes from the fifteen other contestants. The last person not picked, Björn Lemeirel, was eliminated from the game. Another twist occurred in episode four when each tribe was asked to pick one player that they trusted the most. The North team chose Melvin Pigot, while the South team chose Richard Mackowia. These two contestants were both sent to a secret island called Entatula where the merge tribe of Panga would live. Eventually those living on the island had chosen all but Fleur Roozenburg, Lydia Guiso, Maxime Verbist, Ryan van Esch, and Veronique De Pryker to join them, they composed the Miniloc tribe and were forced to take part in a series of duels until only one remained and would return to the game. When it came time for the final four, the contestants took part in a couple of final challenges in order to determine who would be the finalists. The first of these challenges was won by Jennifer Smit while the second was won by Ryan van Esch. Ultimately, it was Ryan van Esch who won this season over Jennifer Smit by a jury vote of 4-2.

Koh-Lanta: Le Combat des Héros is the 22nd season and the 5th All-Star season of the French version of Survivor, Koh-Lanta. This season, like last season, takes place in Fiji on the Yasawa Islands, and airs on TF1. The main twist this season is that after a contestant is voted out, they are sent to L'île de l'Exil where they will face against other eliminated contestants for a chance to return to the game. This is the first season in which contestants who are eliminated in circumstances that do not involve being voted off are not replaced by the last eliminated contestant. The season premiered on 16 March 2018 and concluded on 25 May 2018 where Clémence Castel was crowned as the Sole Survivor in a close 5-4 jury vote against Pascal Salviani becoming the first two-time winner of Koh-Lanta.

The season was filmed in the Philippines between August and October 2018, and aired on Reshet 13 on March 9, 2019 until July 13, 2019, when former footballer Đovani Roso was named the Sole Survivor over previous Survivor winner Naama Kasry and plus-sized model Simcha Gueta during the live finale; Kasry was named the audience's favourite player after winning a public vote.

The season concluded on 26 May 2019 where Klas Beyer won against Fia Grönborg in a challenge to claim the title and become this year's Robinson.
Australian Survivor: Champions vs. Contenders 2 is the sixth season of Australian Survivor and the fourth season to air on Network Ten. It was hosted by Jonathan LaPaglia and filmed in the Fijian community of Savusavu.
