Rodney Figueroa (born 13 July 1966) is a Puerto Rican wrestler. He competed in the men's freestyle 130 kg at the 1992 Summer Olympics. [1]

He currently serves as the District Administrator for the School District of Monroe, in Monroe, Wisconsin. [2]

He won seven AL batting titles, the second most AL batting titles in history behind Ty Cobb, and on July 12, 2016, the AL batting title was renamed to the Rod Carew American League batting title.

Enrique Figueroa Suárez, also known as "Quique Figueroa", is a Puerto Rican sailor. Figueroa is the only sailor of Puerto Rico to win four gold medals in the Central American-Caribbean Games. He has also competed at five Olympic Games, from 1988 to 2004 and in 2020. In 1999, Figueroa and his wife Carla Malatrasi won a gold medal in sailing in the Pan Am Hobie competition celebrated in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. On March 3, 2003 the Senate of Puerto Rico honored Enrique Figueroa and his wife Carla Malatrasi by recognizing their achievements.

Rodney E. "Rod" White is an American archer. He competed in the 1996 Olympic Games and the 2000 Olympic Games. In the 1996 team competition he won gold with Justin Huish and Butch Johnson. In 2000 the American team won the bronze medal. He was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, lives in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. Jackeline Rentería Castillo is a female wrestler from Colombia. She won a bronze medal in the women's freestyle 55 kg at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and repeated the feat in the women's freestyle 55 kg category at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She reached the semifinals in both tournaments, losing to the eventual silver medalists and winning the repechage bout. With her second medal she tied Helmut Bellingrodt, an Olympic Sports Shooter as the most decorated Colombian Olympian. Rodney "Hot Rod" McLain is an American sprint canoer who competed in the mid to late 1980s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he earned his best finish of fifth in the C-2 1000 m event at Los Angeles in 1984. McLain won two medals at the 1987 Pan American Games in Canadian doubles, a silver in 1,000 metres and a bronze in 500 metres. He was the 1977 North American Junior Champion and the 1981 US Champion. During his canoeing career McLain continued to compete in biathlon and cross-country skiing.

Lila Ram Sangwan was an Indian wrestler from Charkhi Dadri district of Haryana, who was the first Indian to win a gold medal in the Commonwealth Games. He won a gold medal in the heavyweight (100 kg) category in the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games. Lila Ram competed in the freestyle wrestling in heavyweight and superheavyweight categories at the national as well as international level.

Rodney Stacey Smith is an American wrestler. He was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Springfield, Massachusetts. Smith attended Western New England University. Coached by head coach Robert Skelton and Assistant Coach Bryon Gross, Smith was a two-time NCAA Division III All-American. After Smith graduated in 1988, he enlisted in the United States Army. He participated in the World Class Athlete Program. He won the bronze medal in Greco-Roman wrestling at the 1992 Summer Olympics. Smith is now working at HCSS in West Springfield.

Rodney John "Rod" Mapstone is a former Australian sprinter who competed in the men's 100m competition at the 1996 Summer Olympics. He recorded a 10.56, not enough to qualify for the next round past the heats. His personal best is 10.17, set in 1996. He was also a part of the Australian 4 × 100 m team, which finished first in its heat with a time of 38.93. They were subsequently disqualified due to a false start in the semifinals.

Exequiel Fernando Figueroa Reyes was a Chilean basketball player. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1948 Summer Olympics and the 1952 Summer Olympics.

Rod Boll was a Canadian sports shooter. He competed in the men's double trap event at the 1996 Summer Olympics. Boll also competed at two editions of the Pan American Games, and won more than twenty titles during his career. He was posthumously inducted into the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame.
