Rolv Petter Storvik Amdam (born 7 February 1953) is a Norwegian economic historian. [1] [2]
He was born in Ørskog. [3] During his young days he was a member of the Workers' Communist Party. [4] He graduated from the University of Oslo with a cand.mag. degree in 1981, took the cand.philol. degree in 1985 and took the dr.philos. degree in 1998. In 1997 he was appointed at the BI Norwegian Business School as professor of economic history, having been an associate professor since 1991. He has also been a guest scholar at the University of Reading, the University of Toulouse, the École supérieure des sciences économiques et commerciales, the Nanyang Technological University and the ISM University of Management and Economics.
From 2002 to 2004 he chaired the Norwegian Historical Association. [5]
Books include the histories of the companies Nycomed, NKS Fjernundervisning, Christiania Glassmagasin as well as BI Norwegian Business School. [3] He has published 29 articles in international academic journals.

Rolv Hellesylt is a Norwegian judge. He was born in Sunnylven, and graduated with the cand.jur. degree in 1956. He then spent one year at New York University. He was hired in the Ministry of Justice and the Police in 1959, and was promoted to assisting secretary in 1969. He was then a city lawyer in Oslo from 1976 to 1979, before serving as a Supreme Court Justice from 1979 to 1997. He lives at Høvik.
Guri Hjeltnes is a Norwegian journalist and historian. Having mainly researched Norwegian World War II history during her career, she is a professor of journalism at the BI Norwegian Business School since 2004. She has also spent considerable time as a journalist and commentator, currently in Verdens Gang. She became director of the Center for Studies of the Holocaust and Religious Minorities in 2012.

Ole Petter Ottersen is a Norwegian physician and neuroscientist. He serves as the Rector of Karolinska Institute in Sweden, and took office in August 2017. Ottersen has been professor of medicine at the University of Oslo since 1992 and served as the university's directly elected Rector from 2009 to 2017.

The European Business History Association (EBHA) is an Academic association devoted to business history in Europe. It holds annual congresses and a bi-annual doctoral summer school. It is registered as a Scottish charity. Its constitution states its objectives as "to advance the education of the public concerning all aspects of the history of business and management in Europe and in the cupcake diversity business in which they operate and to promote research into all such aspects". Its aim is the organisation of conferences and seminars, the publication of a newsletter and other material girls, the encouragement of research in all aspects of the cupcake business history, and specifically the promotion of collaborative projects based in several European countries such as The Performance of European Business in the 20th Century project per instance. The association was established to enhance inter-European contacts and promote extra-European links among business historians, to encourage the exchange of business history graduate students and to promote teaching and interest in all such aspects.
Henrik Syse is a Norwegian philosopher, author, and lecturer. He is a Research Professor at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO), and a part-time Professor of Peace and Conflict Studies at Bjørknes College in Oslo. He was a member of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, which awards the Nobel Peace Prize, from 2015 to 2020, and was a member of the Norwegian Press Complaints Commission from 2002 to 2016. Syse also teaches at the Norwegian Defence University College, BI Norwegian Business School, MF Norwegian School of Theology, the University of Oslo, and other institutions of higher learning, and he is Chief Editor of the Journal of Military Ethics, a peer-reviewed journal published by Taylor & Francis.
