Rose Hart (born January 9, 1942) is a retired female track and field athlete from Ghana. She specialised in the hurdling, the sprints and the discus throw events during her career.
Hart represented Ghana at the 1964 Olympic Games. She twice claimed a gold medal for her native West African country at the All-Africa Games: 1965 and 1973.

Marian Ewurama Addy was a Ghanaian biochemist and the first Host of the National Science and Maths Quiz. The first Ghanaian woman to attain the rank of full professor of natural science, Addy became a role model for school girls and budding female scientists on the limitless opportunities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines. Marian Addy was also a Fellow of the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences, elected in 1999. In the same year, she was awarded the UNESCO Kalinga Prize for the Popularization of Science.
The history of African Americans in Ghana goes back to individuals such as American civil rights activist and writer W. E. B. Du Bois (1868–1963), who settled in Ghana in the last years of his life and is buried in the capital, Accra. Since then, other African Americans who are descended from slaves imported from areas within the present-day jurisdiction of Ghana and neighboring states have applied for permanent resident status in Ghana. As of 2015, the number of African-American residents has been estimated at around 3,000 people, a large portion of whom live in Accra.

Gifty Mensah is a Ghanaian badminton player who joined the national team in 2010. In 2011, she plays for Accra, compete at the Ghana Independence Day Open Championship. She won a gold in the women's doubles and a silver in the singles. At the same year, she was selected to represent her country to compete at the All-Africa Games. Teamed-up with Daniel Sam, they were the finalist at the 2015 Nigeria International tournament. In 2016, she was the runner-up at the Rose Hill International tournament in the mixed doubles event with Emmanuel Donkor, after battling with the Mauritanian Edoo and Louison. She also took the third place in the women's doubles event with Stella Amassah. In 2018, she competed at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast.

She competed at world championships, most recently at the 2018 Africa Youth Championship, 2019 Africa Weightlifting Championship in Egypt and the 2019 Africa Games in Morocco.

Deborah Acquah is a Ghanaian Long jumper. She has competed at world championships, most recently at the 2019 African Games in Rabat, Morocco. She is the current holder of Ghana's indoor long and triple jump records.
Anita Fordjour is a Ghanaian athlete, who has competed in wheelchair racing. She came third in the 1500 metres T54 event at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, and has won multiple medals at the All-Africa Games.
Wasila Diwura-Soale is a Ghanaian footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Ghana women's national team. Diwura-Soale played for Ghana at U-17 level in 2012 and was part of the Black Maidens squad that placed third at the 2012 World Cup in Azerbaijan. She also featured for the Ghana U-20 team, the Black Princesses, at the 2014 and 2016 World Cups in Canada and Papua New Guinea respectively.
