Rothwell is an electoral ward of Leeds City Council in south east Leeds, West Yorkshire, including the town of the same name and the villages of Carlton, Oulton and Woodlesford.

Notes

  1. Cohen had been a councillor for Burley from 1978 to 1980 and Harehills ward from 1980 to 1996.
  2. Golton had previously been a councillor for Weetwood ward from 1998 to 2006.
  3. Bruce had previously been a Garforth and Swillington ward councillor from 1998 until losing her seat at the 2004 election.
  4. Following the 2019 election, Harrison changed her surname to Hall.
  5. Carmel Hall died in office in July 2020. No by-election was required as her term of office was to end and her successor to be elected on 6 May 2021 at the next council election as, in accordance with UK government regulations in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, it would have been scheduled for the same date.
