Rozen-e-Deewar is the first album recorded by Pakistani music band Roxen. [3] Blending pop and rock, Roxen's debut album was released on August 31, 2006. [4]
Rozen-e-Deewar was released under Fire Records (Pakistan), HOM Records (India), [5] Sangeet Records (United States, Canada, North America, and across the world).
"Rozen-e-Deewar" is an Urdu word that means "A hole in a wall (of a prison cell) from which a ray of light emerges which gives hope and freshness". The name of the band is also a corruption of the same word (Roxen) and was suggested by Kashaan, a friend of Mustafa Zahid.

Rozen-e-Deewar has received positive reviews and enabled the band to garner a cult following. [4] Rizwana Malik of PakManzil called it worth the wait. Shahzeb Sheikh of Instep Magazine also gave a positive review and said, "Rozen-e-Deewar is a complete album in the sense that it caters to both rock freaks as well as listeners who like soft songs..." [7]
Rozen-e-Deewar was nominated for Best Album at the 7th Lux Style Awards.

The Mekaal Hasan Band is known for being innovators of a progressive style of music which finds it's melodic roots in South Asian traditional musical and literary art forms, some of which include Qawali, Sufiana Kalam and in general, traditional material culled from Indian and Pakistani culture and folkloric traditions.
Strings was a Pakistani pop/rock band composed of two members, plus four live band members from Karachi, Pakistan. The band was initially formed by four college students—Bilal Maqsood, Faisal Kapadia (vocals), Rafiq Wazir Ali (synthesizer) and Kareem Bashir Bhoy —in 1988. In 1992 the quartet disbanded, only to make a comeback with Maqsood and Kapadia in 2000. He debuted as a singer with song "Channo" in 2003, and sang his first movie song "Jugnuon Se Bhar De Aanchal" in the same year. He has sung for Hindi cinema from 2010 to 2016. His discography also includes songs for Pakistani films and dramas. He also has recorded many singles, covers, poetries, and has sung for TV commercials and brands, notably Coke Studio, ISPR, and Pakistan Super League.
E Sharp is a rock band from Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, that initially started as a cover band active in Karachi's underground music scene but later on started creating their own original work. The band's first two albums; Bahadur Yaar Jung (2015) and 600 Saal (2017)were nominated at the Lux Style Awards respectively. A bunch of their singles and music videos has mostly received positive reviews. Their third album Choti Khushiyan was released in 2020 and received positive reviews as well.

Black Hour, often stylized as Blackhour, is a Pakistani progressive rock band from Islamabad, founded in 2007 by guitarist Hashim Mehmood. After several lineup changes in its early years, the band settled on four members for more than a decade: Hashim Mehmood, drummer Daim Mehmood, bassist Salman Afzal and lead vocalist Tayyab Rehman. Black Hour has consistently incorporated progressive, folk, classical, and alternative influences into its compositions, as well as strong influences from heavy metal, especially in their early works.
