Ruben Kristiansen (born 20 February 1988) is a Norwegian international footballer who plays professionally for SK Brann, as a left back.

Kristiansen hails from Nordreisa Municipality. [1] He has played club football for Skjervøy, Tromsdalen and Tromsø. [2] [3] He signed for Vålerenga in March 2014. [4]

The 2011 Tippeligaen was the 67th completed season of top division football in Norway. The competition began on 20 March 2011 and ended on 27 November 2011. Rosenborg were the defending champions, having secured their twenty-second League Championship on 24 October 2010. Sogndal, Sarpsborg 08 and Fredrikstad entered as the three promoted teams from the 2010 1. divisjon. They replaced Hønefoss, Kongsvinger and Sandefjord who were relegated to the 2011 1. divisjon.

Norwegian football teams have entered Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) club competitions every season since 1960. Nineteen clubs have represented Norway in four official tournaments: the Champions League, the Europa League, the Cup Winners' Cup and the Intertoto Cup, the latter two which are now defunct. Rosenborg has participated in thirty seasons, more than any other Norwegian team, while Fyllingen, Gjøvik-Lyn, Haugar and Kongsvinger have only participated once each. The 2012 season was Tromsø's 10th consecutive year in Tippeligaen, and their 26th season in the top flight of Norwegian football. It was Per Mathias Høgmo's third and final season as the club's manager. Tromsø participated in the Tippeligaen finishing 4th, the 2012 Norwegian Football Cup where they were beaten in the final by Hødd. They also tool part in the 2012–13 UEFA Europa League, entering at the Second qualifying round stage against Olimpija Ljubljana before being eliminated by Partizan on away goals at the Play Off stage.

The 2013 season was Tromsø's 11th consecutive year in Tippeligaen, and their 27th season in the top flight of Norwegian football, a run that came to an end as they were relegated to the Adeccoligaen after finishing 15th. The 2012 season was Strømsgodset's 6th season in Tippeligaen following their promotion back to the top flight in 2006. It was Ronny Deila's fifth season in charge and they finished 2nd in the Tippeligaen and were knocked out of the 2012 Norwegian Football Cup at the Quarterfinal stage by Brann.

Mesterfinalen, also known as UNICEF Mesterfinalen due to its cooperation with UNICEF, is a Norwegian association football competition contested between the champions of the previous Eliteserien season and the holders of the Norwegian Football Cup. If the same team is both reigning League and Cup champions, the silver medalist from the league provides the opposition. The competition was founded in 2009, then known as Superfinalen. Superfinalen was not arranged between 2011 and 2016 before it was rebranded and again arranged in 2017. The fixture is a recognised competitive football super cup.

The 2018 season is Rosenborg's 39th consecutive year in the top flight now known as Eliteserien, their 51st season in the top flight of Norwegian football. They will participate in Eliteserien, the Cup, the 2018 Mesterfinalen and the 2018-19 UEFA Champions League, entering at the First qualifying round stage. Kåre Ingebrigtsen started the season as manager but the club decided to remove him from the job after 4 years on July 19 and made Head of the academy Rini Coolen the manager.

The 2019 season is Rosenborg's 40th consecutive year in the top flight now known as Eliteserien, their 52nd season in the top flight of Norwegian football. They will participate in Eliteserien, the Cup, the 2019 Mesterfinalen and the 2019-20 UEFA Champions League, entering at the First qualifying round stage. This will be Eirik Horneland's first season as Rosenborg manager after being appointed on January 3.
