Rugby sevens at the 2024 Summer Olympics – Women's team squads

This article shows the squads of all participating teams for the women's rugby sevens competition at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Each squad can have up to 12 players, as well as two traveling reserves in case of injury. [1]

New Zealand

New Zealand's squad of 12 players was named on 20 June 2024. Additionally, Tysha Ikenasio, Tenika Willison and Kelsey Teneti were named as traveling reserves. [2] [3]

Fiji

Fiji's squad of 13 players was finalized on 18 July 2024. Additionally Rogosau Adimereani was named as a traveling reserve. [4]

Canada

China

China's squad of 12 players was finalized on 18 July 2024. Additionally, Wang Xiao and Ma Xiaodan were named as traveling reserves. [7]

Australia

Australia's squad of 12 players was named on 2 July 2024. Additionally, Kahli Henwood and Sidney Taylor were named as traveling reserves. [8] [9]

Ireland

Ireland's squad of 12 players was named on 17 June 2024. Additionally, Claire Boles and Amy Larn were named as traveling reserves. [10] [11]

According to Gareth Baber, the coach of the Fiji Sevens team: "Last year he [Mocenacagi] was a forward and this year we're using him in that centre position. He's a threat every time he gets the ball, he's a big powerful runner." Mocenacagi comes from Nukuilau, Navosa on the Island of Viti Levu.

The team was made up of athletes from the whole United Kingdom including Northern Ireland. Additionally some British overseas territories compete separately from Britain in Olympic competition.
