He has appeared in more than 25 films, and won several accolades including, eight Nandi Awards, five Filmfare Telugu Awards, four SIIMA Awards, three CineMAA Awards, and one IIFA Utsavam Award. One of the highest-paid Telugu film actors, he also owns the production house G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment.
Kushka is a 2020 Indian Kannada-language drama film, directed and edited by Vikram Yoganand, produced by Prathap Reddy, Madhu Gowda and Kailash Pal under the banner of Smart Screen Productions and PM Productions. The film follows Heegondhu Dina (2018) and features writer and actor Guruprasad, along with Kailash Pal and Sanjana Anand. The director Yoganand is also credited as cinematographer. Thomas, directed by Joshiy, produced and distributed by Dileep through Graand Production and Manjunatha Release. The film stars an ensemble cast featuring Mohanlal, Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, Jayaram, Dileep, Bhavana, Indrajith Sukumaran, Siddique and Manoj K. Jayan. The film was produced on behalf of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) as a fundraiser to financially support actors who are struggling in the Malayalam cinema. All the actors in AMMA worked without payment in order to raise funds for their welfare schemes.

Mahesh Babu is an Indian actor and producer known for his work in Telugu cinema. He first appeared in the 1979 film Needa when he was four years old. Following his role as the titular protagonist in Balachandrudu (1990) while still a child, his career went on hiatus so he could concentrate on his education until taking on his first lead role as an adult in the 1999 film Raja Kumarudu, for which he won the Nandi Award for Best Male Debut.
