Rungta College, Bhilai also known as Santosh Rungta Group of Colleges [1] is a group of private educational institutions in Central India [2] [3] [4] [5] in the city of Durg, Chhattisgarh. [6] The multiple campuses under it are affiliated with Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University (CSVTU), [7] [8] Hemchand Yadav University, Durg. [9] It has a combined campus size of over 150 acres. [10] [11] It was also ranked 25th Top Engineering (Private) Colleges in India in 2023 by India Today [12] and ranked 6 by Outlook India as India's top B-Schools 2022 [13] The Group also holds the Guinness world record for maximum number of people in a singing relay - single song. Rungta College was established in 1999 under the GDR Educational Society for Higher & Technical Education Founded by Ghanshyam Das Rungta. [15] The group chairman Santosh Rungta [16] [17] expanded it from one engineering college to a group which has one Engineering College, [18] two pharmacy colleges, and a commerce and science college. [19]
It comprises four colleges, offering education in disciplines like Engineering, Pharmacy, Research, Science, Commerce, and Education.

Established in 2006, it is an institution of science and Commerce education and is affiliated with Hemchand Yadav University, Durg. GD Rungta College of Science & Technology has also received accreditation from the National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE) New Delhi. [27] GDRCST offers programs at PG diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels, including B.Sc., B. Com, BBA, BCA, B.A., PGDCA, B.Ed., M.Ed, M.Sc, MSW, D.Ed., B.Ed., M.Ed. etc. [28]

Swami Vivekananda Airport, formerly known as Mana Airport, is a domestic airport serving the state of Chhattisgarh, India. The airport is located at Mana, approximately 15 km (9.3 mi) south-east of Raipur and 10 km (6.2 mi) east of Naya Raipur, situated conveniently between the two cities.
