Ryan McLeod (born September 21, 1999) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward for the Edmonton Oilers in the National Hockey League (NHL).
McLeod was drafted by the Oilers in the second round of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. [1] He played junior hockey with the Mississauga Steelheads and Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League until turning pro at the end of the 2018–19 season, signing an entry level contract with the Oilers on May 1, 2019. [2] [3]
On November 14, 2021, McLeod scored his first NHL goal against the St. Louis Blues. [4]
On September 22, 2022, McLeod signed a 1-Year contract extension with the Oilers for $798,000. [5]
McLeod was born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario, the son of Richard and Judi McLeod and first learned to skate on their backyard rink at the age of 18 months. [6] He has two older brothers who also play professional hockey, Matt who currently plays for the Belfast Giants in Northern Ireland and Michael who currently plays for the New Jersey Devils. [6]
In childhood, McLeod was a fan of both the Edmonton Oilers and Toronto Maple Leafs, and said he favoured the Oilers because his favourite player growing up was Ryan Smyth. [7]

Andrew Cogliano is a Canadian professional ice hockey player for the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League (NHL). He formerly played for the Edmonton Oilers, Anaheim Ducks, Dallas Stars and the San Jose Sharks. On December 31, 2013, Cogliano became the 20th player in NHL history to play 500 consecutive games, and only the fifth to do so from the beginning of his NHL career. On November 4, 2017, Cogliano played in his 800th consecutive game, placing him in fourth place on the NHL's most consecutive games played list. The streak ended at 830 games on January 14, 2018, when Cogliano was suspended for two games. Cogliano won the Stanley Cup with the Avalanche in 2022.

Nazem Kadri is a Canadian professional ice hockey player for the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League (NHL). He played his junior career in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), first with the Kitchener Rangers and then the London Knights. He won the J.
