Khanthan is the Founder-Director of Crazy Creations. [9] He has directed and contributed to the music choreography for plays staged by Crazy Mohan totaling to over 4500 shows in India, USA, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Singapore, Kuwait and Hong Kong. [10]

Khanthan co-directed the first-ever 3D Animation film produced in India titled Paanadavaas the 5 Warriors, intended for Hollywood and American children.

Khanthan directed a telefilm written by director Mouli titled Naan Ready Nee Readiya which was telecast on Star Vijay TV. [15] He followed it up by writing and directing a serial for Sun TV produced by director Vasanth titled Charu-Latha which ran for 40 weeks.

The film was also simultaneously shot in Telugu as Andamaina Anubhavam. A large part of the film was shot in Singapore. The film was later dubbed in Hindi as Pyara Tarana.

Mohan Rangachari known professionally as Crazy Mohan, was an Indian actor, comedian, screenwriter and playwright. An engineer by profession, Mohan started writing plays and established his own drama troupe called "Crazy Creations" in 1979. In addition to dramas and tele-serials, Mohan worked as a dialogue writer on a number of comedy films. Mohan had written over 30 plays, worked on over 40 films, having cameo roles in each film, and written 100 short stories. The Tamil Nadu state government in the year 2004, awarded him the Kalaimamani title for excellence in the field of arts and literature.

Jery is a 2006 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by S. B. Khanthan, produced by V. Vishwanathan, and written by Crazy Mohan. The film stars Jithan Ramesh as the titular character, while Shruthi Raj, Mumtaj, and Meera Vasudevan play the female leads. The music was composed by Ramesh Vinayakam with editing done by Krishnakumar. The film was released on 19 May 2006.

Vasu, Sowcar Janaki and Jayanthi. It is based on Balachander's play of the same name, itself inspired by Sombhu Mitra's play Kanchanranga. The film was released on 12 December 1968, and became a commercial success, with Balachander winning the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Dialogue Writer. Aahaa..! (transl. Wow..!) is a 1997 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Suresh Krissna, starring Rajiv Krishna and Sulekha. The film was a decent hit among Diwali releases and ran for 100 days.
