A comedy manga spin-off by Toriyasu, titled SK8 Chill Out!, began serialization on Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace Up manga website on January 11, 2021. [22] [23] A manga adaptation of the television series by Kazuto Kōjima released on the BookLive! e-book store under their Nino imprint starting on March 5, 2021. [24] [25]

Stage plays

Two stage play adaptations were announced on July 4, 2021. [14] SK8 Part 1 ran from December 2–12, 2021. SK8 Part 2 was scheduled to take place from January 15–24, 2022, but the shows were canceled after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19. [26]

<i>Burst Angel</i> Japanese anime series

Burst Angel is a Japanese anime television series directed by Koichi Ohata, from a screenplay by Fumihiko Shimo. It was produced by the Gonzo animation studio. Burst Angel takes place in the near future, after a rise in criminal activity forced the Japanese government to allow citizens to possess firearms and establish the Recently Armed Police of Tokyo (RAPT). The series follows a band of four mercenaries, named Jo, Meg, Sei, and Amy. It was broadcast for 24-episodes on TV Asahi from April to September 2004. An original video animation (OVA), titled Burst Angel: Infinity, was released in 2007.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a Japanese anime television series adapted from the original Fullmetal Alchemist manga series by Hiromu Arakawa. Produced by Bones, the series is directed by Yasuhiro Irie, written by Hiroshi Ōnogi and composed by Akira Senju. The series was conceived in order to create a faithful adaptation that directly follows the entire storyline of the original manga, after 2003's Fullmetal Alchemist anime series strayed away from it to tell its own story after running out of published manga material to adapt.

<i>Assassination Classroom</i> Japanese manga series

Assassination Classroom is a Japanese science fiction comedy manga series written and illustrated by Yusei Matsui. The series follows the daily life of an extremely powerful octopus-like being working as a junior high homeroom teacher, and his students dedicated to the task of assassinating him to prevent Earth from being destroyed. The students are considered "misfits" in their school and are taught in a separate building; the class he teaches is called 3-E. It was serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from July 2012 to March 2016, with its chapters collected in twenty-one tankōbon volumes.

<i>Mob Psycho 100</i> Japanese manga series and franchise

Mob Psycho 100 is a Japanese web manga series written and illustrated by One. It was serialized on Shogakukan's Ura Sunday website from April 2012 to December 2017. It has been also available online on Shogakukan's mobile app MangaONE since December 2014. Shogakukan compiled its chapters in 16 tankōbon volumes. The story follows Shigeo Kageyama, nicknamed Mob, a boy who has strong psychic powers, and his struggles to find the simple happiness he is looking for.

<i>Hori-san to Miyamura-kun</i> Japanese manga series by Hero

Hori-san to Miyamura-kun is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiroki Adachi, under the pseudonym Hero. It was self-published as a webcomic on Hero's website, Dokkai Ahen, from February 2007 to December 2011 in a four-panel format. The series received a print publication by Square Enix, who compiled the chapters in ten tankōbon volumes under its imprint Gangan Comics from October 2008 to December 2011. Additional side-story chapters were compiled in fifteen volumes from July 2012 to July 2021 as Hori-san to Miyamura-kun Omake.

<i>Midnight Occult Civil Servants</i> Japanese manga series

Midnight Occult Civil Servants was a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yōko Tamotsu. The manga has inspired a novelization by Masumi Suzuki, and an anime television series adaptation by Liden Films aired from April 7 to June 23, 2019. The anime series is licensed in North America under a Crunchyroll-Funimation partnership. The series follows Arata Miyako, a newly recruited staff member of the Shinjuku Ward Nocturnal Community Relations Division (NCRD) who possesses the "Ears of Sand", giving him the ability to understand the languages of supernatural creatures called the Anothers. His main role with the Shinjuku Ward NCRD is to maintain relations with the Anothers.

<i>Endro!</i> Japanese anime television series

Endro! is a Japanese original anime television series by Studio Gokumi. The series aired in Japan between January and March 2019, and a manga adaptation was serialized from August 9, 2018 to February 15, 2019. The anime series is licensed in North America under a Crunchyroll-Funimation partnership.

Hiroko Utsumi is a Japanese anime director, animator, storyboard artist, and manga artist. She is best known for her work with Kyoto Animation, particularly as the original director of Free!. After leaving Kyoto Animation's affiliate company Animation Do, she directed the anime adaptation of Banana Fish manga, and created and directed SK8 the Infinity with Bones. She is a graduate of the Osaka Municipal College of Design.

2.43: Seiin High School Boys Volleyball Team is a Japanese volleyball light novel series written by Yukako Kabei and illustrated by Aiji Yamakawa. A manga adaptation with art by Yamakawa has been serialized in Shueisha's josei manga magazine Cocohana from July to September 2018. <i>The Dungeon of Black Company</i> Japanese manga series

The Dungeon of Black Company is a Japanese manga series by Yōhei Yasumura. It has been serialized in Mag Garden's Mag Comi website since December 2016. The series is licensed in North America by Seven Seas Entertainment. An anime television series adaptation produced by Silver Link aired from July to September 2021.

Chiaki Kobayashi is a Japanese voice actor affiliated with Office Osawa. His roles include Hiroto Kuga in Gundam Build Divers Re:Rise, Deuce Spade in Disney: Twisted-Wonderland, Makoto Edamura in Great Pretender, Langa Hasegawa in SK8 the Infinity, Gabimaru in Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku, Mash Burnedead in Mashle and Stark in Frieren: Beyond Journey's End.

Ryo Takahashi is a Japanese musician and composer. Growing up, Takahashi was a fan of American rock band the Ventures, which inspired him to take a musical career, and university inspired him to become a composer, which he was given his first lead role in with Please Tell Me! Galko-chan in 2016. Since 2016, he has done music composition for various series, such as ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. and SK8 the Infinity. Under the name Void_Chords, he has performed theme songs for Two Car, Princess Principal, and Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest.

<i>The Prince of Tennis II</i> Japanese manga series and its adaptations

The Prince of Tennis II, known in Japan as The New Prince of Tennis, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Takeshi Konomi. It is a sequel to Konomi's manga series The Prince of Tennis. It has been serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Jump Square since March 2009. A 13-episode anime television series adaptation was broadcast on TV Tokyo from January to March 2012. A new anime television series titled The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup aired from July to September 2022, with a sequel premiering in October 2024.

Matt Shipman is an American voice actor. He started voice acting professionally in 2015 and was cast in his first lead role with Gear in World War Blue in 2016. Since 2016, some of his larger roles include Kazuya Kujo in Gosick, Hiro in Darling in the Franxx, Chrome in Dr. Stone, and Reki Kyan in SK8 the Infinity.

Gekidol is a Japanese multimedia franchise. It consists of a manga series, titled Gekidol Alive, which has been serialized in Dengeki Maoh since December 2016, an OVA, titled Alice in Deadly School, released in January 2021, an anime television series, which aired from January to March 2021, and a stage play.

Howard Wang is an American voice actor, known for his work in anime dubs.
