Nahimana made her WTA Tour main-draw debut at the 2018 Rabat Grand Prix, partnering with Egyptian Sandra Samir in doubles.

She defeated former top-10 player Kristina Mladenovic at the 2022 ITS Cup in Olomouc.

Nahimana made her singles WTA Tour debut at the 2023 Morocco Open, becoming the first Burundian in a WTA tournament main draw. [2] [3]
