Sahir Abdool Edoo (born 13 October 1987) is a Mauritian badminton player. [1] He competed at the 2010 and 2014 Commonwealth Games. [2] [3] He is now serves as a secretary general at the Badminton Confederation of Africa. [4]

Matej Hliničan is a Slovak male badminton player. In 2014, he won the Ethiopia International tournament in the mixed doubles event partnered with Bridget Shamim Bangi of Ethiopia, and became the runner-up in the men's doubles event with Arnaud Genin of French. In December 2014, he and Bangi became the runner-up at the Botswana International tournament, they were defeated by the South African pair in the final round. In 2015, he teamed-up with Jan Fröhlich in the men's doubles event, and they became the runner-up at the Puerto Rico International tournament.

In 1996, he was the semi-finalist at the South Africa International tournament in the men's doubles event with Dave Calvert. In 2013, he reach the final round at the Botswana International tournament in the men's doubles event partnered with Andries Malan. The duo became the runner-up after defeated by the Slovenian pair in the rubber game. At the Balkan Badminton Championships, he won the bronze medal in the mixed team event. He and Malan also the semi-finalist at the 2016 South Africa International tournament. He also play for the Novi Sad badminton club, and in 2013 he won the men's and mixed doubles title at the Vojvodina Championship, and also became the runner-up in the men's singles event.

Sandra Rujević is a Serbian badminton player. She was the women's doubles national championships from 2010-2013 and in the mixed doubles in 2010. In 2013, she won the international tournament in the women's doubles event partnered with Elme de Villiers of South Africa at the Botswana and South Africa. At the Balkan Championships, she won the bronze medal in the mixed team event.

Daniel Sam is a Ghanaian badminton player. He competed at the 2010, 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games. In 2011, he won the bronze medal at the All-Africa Games in the men's doubles event partnered with Solomon Mensah Nyarko. He was one of the 14 players selected for the Road to Rio Program, a program that aimed to help African badminton players to compete at the 2016 Olympic Games. Having faced disciplinary issues including being suspended for six times in ten years, he was banned for 6 years by his national governing body of the sport, after a disciplinary hearing in 2021

Gifty Mensah is a Ghanaian badminton player who joined the national team in 2010. In 2011, she plays for Accra, compete at the Ghana Independence Day Open Championship. She won a gold in the women's doubles and a silver in the singles. At the same year, she was selected to represent her country to compete at the All-Africa Games. Teamed-up with Daniel Sam, they were the finalist at the 2015 Nigeria International tournament. In 2016, she was the runner-up at the Rose Hill International tournament in the mixed doubles event with Emmanuel Donkor, after battling with the Mauritanian Edoo and Louison. She also took the third place in the women's doubles event with Stella Amassah. In 2018, she competed at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast.
