Willard is a city in Greene County, Missouri, United States. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 6,344. It is part of the Springfield, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Frederic Charles Willard was an American actor and comedian. He is best known for his work with Christopher Guest in his mockumentary films This Is Spinal Tap (1984), Waiting for Guffman (1996), Best in Show (2000), A Mighty Wind (2003), For Your Consideration (2006), and Mascots (2016). He also appeared in supporting roles in the comedy films Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999), American Wedding (2003), and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004). On television, Willard received several Primetime Emmy Award nominations for his work on the sitcoms Everybody Loves Raymond and Modern Family.
Thomas Aaron Crean is a college basketball coach. Most recently, he was the head coach for the University of Georgia men's basketball team. Crean was previously the head coach of Indiana University. Prior to that, he served as head coach at Marquette University (1999–2008), where his team reached the 2003 NCAA Final Four.

Shaheen Holloway is an American men's basketball coach and former player who is the coach for the Seton Hall Pirates. He played college basketball at Seton Hall from 1996 to 2000. A point guard, Holloway played professionally for seven seasons. He served as the head coach for the Saint Peter's Peacocks from 2018 to 2022, where he led the 15th seed Peacocks to the Elite Eight in the 2022 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament. As head coach of Seton Hall, he led the top-seeded Pirates to the 2024 National Invitation Tournament (NIT) championship.

The Pirates played their home games at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and Walsh Gymnasium in South Orange, New Jersey as members of the Big East Conference. They finished the season 20-14, 9-9 for a 4 way tie for 3rd place. In the Big East tournament, they defeated Georgetown in the Quarterfinals, Marquette in the semifinals before losing to Villanova in the championship. They received a at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament where they lost in the First Round to Wofford.

The Tigers were led by third-year head coach Damon Stoudamire and played their home games at the Alex G. Spanos Center in Stockton, California as members of the West Coast Conference. They finished the season 14–18, 4–12 in WCC play to finish in ninth place. They lost in the first round of the WCC tournament to Pepperdine.
The 2019 Missouri Valley Conference women's basketball tournament was part of the 2018–19 NCAA Division I women's basketball season and was played in Moline, Illinois March 14–17, 2019, at the TaxSlayer Center. Missouri State defeated Drake to receive the Missouri Valley Conference's automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA tournament. Alexa Willard was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player.
