Samson Lardy Anyenini is a Ghanaian lawyer [1] [2] He attended University of Ghana (LL. M) and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (LL.B). [3] He is a journalist who works for Multimedia Ghana's Joy Fm. [3] [4] He hosts Joynews and Joy FM's weekend current affairs news analysis Newsfile programme. [5] [1] [6] As a Broadcast Journalist, he was also a BBC correspondent reporting on a wide range of issues with emphasis on human rights cases. [7]

Career

He was appointed to serve as the Chairman of the Ghana Football Association Normalization Disciplinary Committee . [8] [9] He was invited to join the illustrious Supreme Court Justices due to his sound knowledge of the law, and his interest in constitutional matters and legal advocacy. He has represented, assisted and advised numerous clients on legal matters including a delegation of a dozen MPs and leaders of Ghana's 6th Parliament, famous corporate entities such NTHC Properties Limited, Multimedia Group Limited and African Origin Travels. He also conducted the case that saw the removal from office of the head of the CHRAJ [10] in 2015. [7] Samson was previously with Osu-based Gaisie Zwennes Hughes & Co.

He holds a Master degree of Laws in Alternative Dispute Resolution, his practice focus on International Commercial and Investment Arbitration. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has consulted for and delivered special papers for professional institutions and special organizations including the Judicial Service of Ghana and the local chapter of global watchdog Ghana Integrity Initiative and Ghana Anti-Corruption Coalition, Ghana Centre for Democratic Development. He was recently invited to serve on the Board of the International Lawyers Assisting Workers (ILAW) Network. [3]

Nana Akufo-Addo touted his anti-corruption fights as Attorney General and a private citizen as reasons for choosing Mr. Amidu, his one-time political adversary.

The Multimedia Group is a media group in Ghana. It was established in 1995 and has six radio stations, six news websites and a satellite television network.

Joy FM is a privately owned radio station in Accra, the capital of Ghana. The station is owned and run by the media group company Multimedia Group Limited. It is arguably the leading radio station in Ghana that broadcasts in the English language. Established in 1995 by Kwasi Twum, the founder of Multimedia Group Limited, Joy FM became the first private radio station to be licensed in Ghana.

Anas Aremeyaw Anas, better known as Anas, is a Ghanaian journalist born in the late 1970s. He utilizes his anonymity as a tool in his investigative journalism work. Anas is a politically non-aligned multimedia journalist who specializes in print media and documentaries. He focuses on issues of human rights and anti-corruption in Ghana and sub-Saharan Africa. In December 2015 Foreign Policy magazine named Anas one of 2015's leading global thinkers. In 2016 Anas had a "Best Journalist" award named after him by the Press Foundation in Ghana.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Kwesi Nyantakyi</span> Ghanaian banker and lawyer

Kwesi Nyantakyi is a Ghanaian banker, lawyer and former football administrator. He was the president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) from 30 December 2005 until 7 June 2018. Nyantakyi officially resigned a day later. However, four hours to the release of his resignation letter FIFA had issued a statement announcing his ban from all football related activities for a period of 90 days pending investigations. Circumstances surrounding his resignation include a video released by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas in which Nyantakyi was found taking a bribe and purporting to have the ability to "take over the whole country". In an interview with Super Sports South Africa a few days after the video of the investigation was slated to go public, Nyantakyi denied any wrongdoing regarding match fixing. On 30 October 2018 FIFA officially issued a statement that officially bans Kwesi Nantakyi from football related activities for life. In October 2020, the ban was reduced to 15 years after a reconsideration by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Gifty Eugenia Kusi (nee Kwofie) (born 11 February 1958) is a Ghanaian politician. She was the member of the Fourth parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana to the Tarkwa-Nsuaem (Ghana parliament constituency) from 2001 to 2017. She is also the principal research assistant in the department of Community Health at the University of Ghana Medical School-Korle-Bu.
