Saran-e Barshaku (Persian : سران بارشكو‎, also Romanized as Sarān Bārshakū; also known as Sarān)^[1] is a village in Jask Rural District, in the Central District of Jask County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 61, in 20 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script, which itself evolved from the Aramaic alphabet.

Jask Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Jask County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 6,392, in 1,239 families. The rural district has 23 villages.

The Central District of Jask County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان جاسک‎ is a district in Jask County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 28,807, in 5,854 families. The District has one city: Jask. The District has three rural districts : Gabrik Rural District, Jask Rural District, and Kangan Rural District.
