Kamal Haasan is an Indian actor, filmmaker, screenwriter, playback singer, television presenter, social activist and politician who works mainly in Tamil cinema. Besides Tamil, he has also appeared in some Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Bengali films. Considered as one of the finest actors in Indian cinema, Haasan is also known for introducing many new film technologies and film making techniques to the Indian film industry. He has won numerous accolades, including Four National Film Awards, Nine Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, Four Nandi Awards, One Rashtrapati Award, Two Filmfare Awards and 17 Filmfare Awards South. He was awarded the Kalaimamani Award in 1984, the Padma Shri in 1990, the Padma Bhushan in 2014 and the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Chevalier) in 2016.
Ramesh Choudary, also known by his stage name Jithan Ramesh, is an Indian actor and film producer who works in Tamil cinema. He is the third son of film producer R. B. Choudary and elder brother of actor Jiiva. He made his breakthrough with the thriller film Jithan (2005) and has continued to appear in lead roles.
Paruthiveeran is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by Ameer. The film stars Karthi in his feature film debut as the title character, with Priyamani as the female lead and Ponvannan, Saravanan, Ganja Karuppu, Sampath Raj, and Sujatha Sivakumar playing supporting roles. Produced by Ameer, it features a soundtrack and score composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematograhy by Ramji and editing by Raja Mohammad. The film was remade into Bengali Bangladesh as PoraMon 2 (2018).
Shakthi Vasudevan is an Indian actor who has predominantly worked on Tamil-language films. The son of director P. Vasu, Shakthi began his career as a child artist in his father's films before making his comeback in the lead role in Thottal Poo Malarum (2007). He has since enjoyed limited success as an actor, notably appearing in Ninaithale Inikkum (2009) and his father's Kannada film, Shivalinga (2016).

Malai Malai is a 2009 Indian Tamil-language masala film written and directed by A. Venkatesh. The film stars Arun Vijay, Prabhu, Vedhika, and Kasthuri in lead roles, while Prakash Raj, Santhanam, Ganja Karuppu, Vijayakumar, and S. N. Lakshmi play supporting roles. The music was composed by Mani Sharma with editing by V. T. Vijayan. The film released on 31 July 2009 and turned out to be a surprise hit at the box office. This film ran for 100 days in theaters.
Vaiyapuri is an Indian actor who has worked in Tamil-language films. He rose to fame by appearing in supporting roles in the late 1990s and early 2000s, often portraying supporting comedic characters. Snehan has since also appeared in films as an actor and made his acting debut with Yogi (2009).
Ponnambalam is an Indian actor and stuntman who has predominantly appeared in Tamil-language films. He is best known for playing antagonistic roles in Indian films during the 1990s, notably appearing in films such as Nattamai (1994), Muthu (1995) and Amarkalam (1999). Later in his career, Ponnambalam also appeared in a few leading roles, while also taking up the mantle of director and producer.

Raju Jeyamohan is an Indian actor, television host and model in the Indian film industry, who has worked predominantly in Tamil television shows and films. Raju made his debut in the movie Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma in the year 2019. He has also acted in various serials including Kana Kaanum Kaalangal, Kana Kaanum Kalangal Kalloori Salai, Andal Azhagar, and Saravanan Meenatchi on Vijay Television. In 2022, he emerged as the winner of the Tamil reality television show Bigg Boss .
Bigg Boss Ultimate was the first season of the Tamil Indian reality Streaming television of Bigg Boss Ultimate, the spin-off to Bigg Boss Tamil and the first series to be released exclusively on Star India streaming service Disney+ Hotstar. The season launched on 30 January 2022 with Kamal Haasan as a host, but he has exited the show from week 3 onwards, due to scheduling conflicts with his upcoming film Vikram. Later, Silambarasan continued as a host from week 4 onwards.
Bigg Boss 6 was the sixth season of the Tamil version of the Indian reality television series Bigg Boss based on the Dutch series Big Brother and produced by Endemol Shine India. The show launched on 9 October 2022 on Star Vijay along with a 24/7 Live stream on Disney+ Hotstar. Kamal Haasan has officially once again been appointed as the host for the sixth time. Once again, Nippon Paint sponsored the sixth season.
Myna Nandhini is an Indian actress and television personality who is best known as Myna Revathi in Saravanan Meenatchi , Alabarai Myna in Chinna Thambi and for her major breakthrough role Mynavathi in Aranmanai 3 (2021). She is also the winner of the cooking show Kitchen Super Star which aired on Star Vijay in 2015. In 2022, she participated in Bigg Boss 6 as a contestant and became the 3rd runner-up.
