The Saskatchewan Female U18 AAA Hockey League (SFU18AAAHL), formerly the Saskatchewan Female Midget AAA Hockey League (SFMAAAHL), is a U-18 ice hockey league in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. The league operates under the supervision of the Hockey Saskatchewan and is the highest level of female minor hockey in the province.
The league was founded in 2006 by the SHA to provide an opportunity for female hockey players to play at a more competitive level and assist them in pursuing their hockey futures. Many SFMAAAHL players who have gone on to play in top-level Canadian Interuniversity Sport or NCAA hockey programs. [1] [2]

The winner of each season's playoffs is awarded the Fedoruk Cup as provincial Female Midget AAA champions. [2] The champion goes on to play a best-of-three series against the champion from Manitoba, the winner of which qualifies for the Esso Cup national championship. The Notre Dame Hounds and Webyurn Gold Wings are the only two Saskatchewan teams to win the Esso Cup. The Hounds were runners-up in 2010. [3]

Athol Murray College of Notre Dame is a private, co-educational boarding high school located in Wilcox, Saskatchewan, Canada. The Midget AAA World Invitational Tournament is an international ice hockey tournament held annually for U18 players in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. First held in 1978, as the CP Challenge Cup, the tournament features 25 male teams from across Canada, the United States and Europe.
The Notre Dame Hounds are a Junior "A" ice hockey team based in Wilcox, Saskatchewan, Canada. They are members of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL). The Hounds also had a junior "B" team that played in the South Saskatchewan Junior B Hockey League, but the team folded after the 2005–06 Season. The team plays its homes games in Duncan McNeill Arena, which has a seating capacity of 1,200. The team colours are red and white.
The Prince Albert Mintos are a Canadian ice hockey team that plays in the Saskatchewan Male U18 AAA Hockey League (SMAAAHL). Their home rink is the Art Hauser Centre . The Prince Albert Mintos won the Telus Cup and Western Canadian Regionals back to back years starting in the 2005–2006 season and 2006–2007 year. They won the Telus Cup and Western Canadian Regionals for the third time in 2013–2014 season.
The Saskatchewan Male U18 'AAA' Hockey League (SMAAAHL), formerly the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League,) is a U-18 'AAA' ice hockey league, with teams based in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. It is the highest level of minor hockey in the province. Players in this league are 18 years of age or younger and often move on to play major junior hockey in the Western Hockey League or junior 'A' hockey in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League followed by college hockey in the United States. Several have eventually gone on to professional hockey careers in the National Hockey League or in Europe.

The 2011 Telus Cup was Canada's 33rd annual national midget 'AAA' hockey championship, played April 18–24, 2011 at the Mile One Centre in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. The Winnipeg Thrashers defeated the London Jr. Knights 3–1 in the gold medal game to win their first national title.
The 2011 Esso Cup was Canada's third annual national women's midget hockey championship, played April 17–23, 2011 at the Servus Credit Union Place in St. Albert, Alberta. The Notre Dame Hounds defeated the Edmonton Thunder 5-2 in the gold medal game to win their first Esso Cup title. Edmonton goaltender Morgan Glover was named the tournament's most valuable player.
The 2010 Esso Cup was Canada's second annual national women's midget hockey championship, played April 18–24, 2010 at the Co-operators Centre at Evraz Place in Regina, Saskatchewan. The Thunder Bay Queens defeated the Notre Dame Hounds 4–3 in the gold medal game to win their first Esso Cup title. Thunder Bay's Kaitlyn Tougas was named the tournament's most valuable player.
The 2014 Telus Cup was Canada's 36th annual national midget 'AAA' hockey championship, played April 21 – 27, 2014 at Mosaic Place in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The Prince Albert Mintos defeated the Grenadiers de Châteauguay in the third overtime period of the gold medal game, which was the longest in Telus Cup history. It was the third national title for the Mintos. The Okanagan Rockets won the bronze medal game, becoming the first British Columbian team to win a medal since 1996.
2015 Esso Cup was Canada's seventh national women's midget hockey championship, played April 19–25, 2015 at Red Deer, Alberta. The Sudbury Lady Wolves defeated the host Red Deer Chiefs 2-1 in the final to win the gold medal. The Saskatoon Stars won the bronze medal.
The 2016 Telus Cup was Canada's 38th annual national midget 'AAA' hockey championship, played April 18 – 24, 2016 at Quispamsis, New Brunswick. The North York Rangers defeated the host Saint John Vitos in the gold medal game, while the Lions du Lac du St-Louis won the bronze.
The 2017 Esso Cup was Canada's ninth national women's midget hockey championship, contested April 23–29, 2017 at Morden, Manitoba. This was the first time that the Esso Cup tournament was played in Manitoba. All games were played at the 1,200-seat Huron Window Corporation Arena, located inside Morden's Access Events Centre. The St. Albert Slash won the gold medal with a 1-0 overtime victory over the Harfangs du Triolet.
Taylor Cassidy Woods is a Canadian professional ice hockey player and strongwoman, currently playing in the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) with the Toronto Six. A defenceman who has also played as a two-way forward, she is both a Clarkson Cup champion and an Isobel Cup champion.
