Satyadeo Ram (alternatively Satyadev Ram;born 2 February 1964 [1] ) is an Indian politician and member of Bihar Legislative Assembly. In the Bihar Legislative Assembly Election,2015,he was elected from Darauli constituency,by defeating Ramayan Manjhi (BJP),a two time MLA,by a margin of about 10,000 votes. He is one of the prominent leaders of Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) (Liberation) from Siwan district,others being former MLA Amarnath Yadav and Amarjeet Kushwaha. [2] [3]
Satyadev Ram was born in Krishnapali village of Darauli Block of Siwan district of Bihar in a Dalit family. His father,the late Rajbanshi Ram,was a farmer. He graduated from 'Shyam Lal Jain Uchha Vidyalaya,Darauli' in 1982. He worked as an agriculturist and social worker.
He joined the Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) (Liberation).

He contested from Gopalganj constituency in the 2009 Indian general election but was defeated.
He married Malti Devi,another social worker and a political leader and Mukhiya of her Gram Panchayat. The couple has a daughter,Gudiya and two sons,Chandrashekhar and Chhotu.

Goreyakothi is a Bihar Legislative Assembly Constituency in Siwan district in the Indian state of Bihar. This constituency was formed in 2010 after two blocks of Basantpur constituency were merged with Goreyakothi block and a new constituency was formed. Bhumendra Narayan Singh was the first MLA of this newly formed Goriakothi assembly seat in 2010. Satyadeo Prasad Singh was MLA from this constituency from 2015 to 2020 and Deveshkant Singh became MLA in 2020. Deveshkant Singh is the only fourth generation politician in the Bihar Vidhan sabha. His father Shri Bhumendra Narayan Singh was MLA two terms from here. His grandfather Shri Krishnakant Singh was also an MLA many times,as well as the first MLA of Goriakothi and MP of Maharajganj. Shri Krishnakant was very close to the first chief minister of Bihar,he held several ministerial posts at times such as health,education and many more. He was also the de facto chief minister in the CM tenure of Shri Bhola Paswan. Narayan babu was a 2 time member of the central assembly that used to be in place before India was independent,was a visionary and started the first school in northern Bihar in 1916 the same day when BHU was started. All the above mentioned,KK Singh his son,BN Singh his grandson,and DK Singh his great grandson have followed his footsteps and are involved in social welfare works. Dr Shanti Roy brought more limelight to Goriakothi as she became the first lady doctor from Goriakothi to be conferred the Padam Shree in 2019,she had got her initial education from Narayan karmyogi high school,Goriakothi. Her son Dr Himanshu Roy is a well known doctor all over Bihar.
Amar Nath Yadav, alternatively Amarnath Yadav is an Indian politician and former member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly. He is a veteran leader of the Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation and a member of the Bihar State Committee of the party. He is also the vice president of the Kisan Mahasabha in Bihar. He is known for his opposition to the erstwhile rule of local strongman Mohammad Shahabuddin and described by a Hindustan Times article as "the only man who stood up to Shahabuddin". He had represented the Darauli constituency from 1995–2000 and from 2005–2010. He rose to prominence in the area after the murder of the student leader Chandrashekhar Prasad in 1997,who died whilst campaigning against Shahabuddin.

He is a leader in the Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation. He was the national president of the Revolutionary Youth Association in India. In 2020 he defeated his near rival Kamla Devi from Ziradei seat with a margin of more than 25000 votes.

Leba Chand Tudu;was an Indian Communist politician. In August 1969,he was included in the Bengal-Bihar-Orissa Border Regional Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist). As of 1970 he was the Gopibhallavpur Area Committee secretary of CPI(ML). He emerged as a leader of tribal communities in Jhargram district,and struggled for promotion of Santhali language. Tudu was released from jail in 1977. He contested the Nayagram Assembly constituency seat in the 1977 West Bengal Legislative Assembly election. He finishing in third place with 7,071 votes (17.49%). He stood as a candidate in the Jhargram constituency in the 1980 Indian general election,finishing in third place with 29,338 votes (5.97%).
Kushwaha is a surname used by people of Koeri caste in Bihar. The Kushwahas are also known as Maurya,Shakya,Saini in various parts of north India. As per one opinion,the Kushwaha surname is also common among members of Kachhi caste,who later merged with the Koeris to become a single homogeneous community. They are a dominant OBC community,who comprise about 9% of the population of state of Bihar.
