Sayville High School is a public high school located in West Sayville, New York on Long Island. The school is part of Sayville School District.
The school was nominated as a National Blue Ribbon School in 2018 for its graduation rate of 98% and 100+ curricular opportunities. [3]

Sayville football won the 2022 Long Island Championship and the Rutgers Cup, making it the team's fifth time in doing so. [5]
The girls' Varsity Cross Country team won the NYSPHAA Championships in 2022 under Coach Tom Duffy. [6]
Sayville football lost in the 2023 Long Island Semifinals to East Islip High School [7] after an injury was sustained to junior QB Jake Triptree, which led to backup sophomore QB Patrick Coan playing in the semifinals. [8]
In October of that same year, it was reported that the boy's varsity soccer season was canceled due to multiple incidents of hazing, bullying, and violence towards younger members of the team, with racism and antisemitism being reported in previous seasons. [9] This response was praised by many anti-bullying advocates, while there haven't been arguments from locals about the cancelation. [10]
In November 2023, the girls' Cross Country team won the NYSPHAA for the second year in a row. [6]
In June 2024, the girls' lacrosse team won the NYSPHAA Girls' Lacrosse Championship semifinals 13–8 against Our Lady of Mercy. [11]

Shuart Stadium is an 11,929-seat multi-purpose stadium and sports facility, the facility serves as the home to Hofstra's lacrosse teams on the campus of Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. First opened in 1963, and remodeled in 1996 and 2013, it was known as "Hofstra Stadium" until August 29, 2002, when it was renamed after the former president of Hofstra University, who played lacrosse and football during his undergraduate years at the school.

The 2014 ACC women's lacrosse conference will now include eight teams. This will be the only year that the ACC women's lacrosse conference will include these eight teams as Maryland will leave the ACC for the Big Ten at the end of the 2014 season. Boston College plays in the women's ACC conference, but not the men's conference.
