Gröningen is a town in the Börde district in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It lies approx. 40 km south-west of Magdeburg, and 10 km east of Halberstadt. It has 3.621 inhabitants. Gröningen is part of the Verbandsgemeinde Westliche Börde.
Ilsenburg is a town in the district of Harz, in Saxony-Anhalt in Germany. It is situated under the north foot of the Harz Mountains, at the entrance to the Ilse valley with its little river, the Ilse, a tributary of the Oker, about six 6 miles (9.7 km) north-west of the town of Wernigerode. It received town privileges in 1959. Owing to its surrounding of forests and mountains as well as its position on the edge of the Harz National Park, Ilsenburg is a popular tourist resort. Since 2002, it is officially an air spa.
Hettstedt is a town in Mansfeld-Südharz district, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, on the Wipper. It consists of Hettstedt proper and the Ortschaften Ritterode and Walbeck. The former municipalities Ritterode and Walbeck were absorbed into Hettstedt in September 2010.

It was mentioned first in 1144 with the name Cloetze, which means a wooden block. In January 2010, with the disbanding of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft of Klötze, the town absorbed 11 former municipalities.
Falkenstein/Harz is a town in the Harz district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It was created in 2002 by merging the town of Ermsleben with the former municipalities of Endorf, Meisdorf, Neuplatendorf, Pansfelde, Reinstedt und Wieserode. The new community was named after Falkenstein Castle.
Seeland is a town in the Salzlandkreis district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is situated northwest of Aschersleben. It was formed by the merger of the previously independent municipalities Friedrichsaue, Frose, Hoym, Nachterstedt and Schadeleben on 15 July 2009. Before this date, these municipalities cooperated in the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Seeland, which also contained the municipality Gatersleben. Gatersleben joined Seeland in September 2010.

These 8 former municipalities are now Ortschaften or municipal divisions of the town Raguhn-Jeßnitz.

It was formed on 1 January 2010 by the merger of the former municipalities Bösdorf, Döhren, Eickendorf, Eschenrode, Etingen, Hödingen, Hörsingen, Kathendorf, Oebisfelde, Rätzlingen, Schwanefeld, Seggerde, Siestedt, Walbeck and Weferlingen. On 1 September 2010 Everingen was also incorporated. These 16 former municipalities are now Ortschaften or municipal divisions of the town Oebisfelde-Weferlingen.
