Koeltztown (KELTS'-town) is an unincorporated community in southern Osage County, Missouri, United States. It is located approximately seventeen miles southeast of Jefferson City and is one of the oldest settlements in Osage County. Founded in 1858, the community was named after its first postmaster, August Koeltze. While not Catholic, Koeltz donated land for a Catholic parish to encourage enough settlers to the area to establish a town around St. Boniface Catholic Church. A post office called Koeltztown has been in operation since 1862.
East-Central Kansas is a region of Kansas. It is located between the Kansas City metropolitan area and Southeast Kansas, and on the border with Missouri. The region extends westward towards the Flint Hills to Lyon County. East-Central Kansas geographically features rolling hills and deep forested river valleys. The main crop of this predominantly agricultural region is corn. The area is more forested and more moist compared to the rest of the state. East-Central Kansas is rich with state history, as many locations of this region saw battles in Bleeding Kansas, and the infamous abolitionist John Brown and his men battled in Osawatomie. Much of the area is powered by Wolf Creek Nuclear Generating Station which is located near Burlington. The most populous cities of the region include Emporia, Ottawa, Paola, Osawatomie, Garnett, Osage City, Burlington, and Louisburg.

Leofeld, Saskatchewan was founded in 1903 by Catholic German settlers. It is located seven miles south east of Cudworth, Saskatchewan in the rural municipality of Hoodoo 401. Shortly after the time of settlement a store, school, church and post office sprang up. The village started to shrink because of the railroad choosing to go through Cudworth, Saskatchewan instead. Today all that remains are the church and a few farmyards.
