Fictional character biography

Secret is a ghostly member of Young Justice who joins the team after Robin, Impulse, and Superboy free her from the DEO (Department of Extranormal Operations). She is later revealed to have been a human named Greta Hayes who was killed by her adoptive brother Billy. Because of the manner of her death, Greta is trapped in the mortal plane. [1]

Harm later kills Secret on Apokolips before Darkseid fully resurrects her. Subsequently, Greta enrolls at the Elias School for Girls along with Cassandra Sandsmark and Cissie King-Jones.

In "The New Golden Age", Secret is reimagined as the former sidekick of the Spectre who is captured by a Time Scavenger called Childminder before being rescued by Stargirl. [2] [3]

As a ghost, Secret can fly, teleport, shapeshift, become ethereal, possess any sentient beings, and take souls to the "other side".
