Sector 70 is a residential and historical sector located in Mohali, Punjab. It is covered with Mattaur, Sector 71, Sohana, Sector 69 and Phase 7, Mohali. There are many parks, around 10, in locality among which famous is Musical Fountain Park for evening stroll and recreation activities. [1] There are many residential complex, apartments and societies.

A historical Gurdwara named Gurdwara Mata Sunder Kaur, commemorates visit of Mata Sundari, Baba Deep Singh and Bhai Mani Singh, is situated in locality and managed by Budha Dal. [2] Adjacent Mattaur village, also known as Komagata Maru Nagar is famous for hosting of All India Congress session in 1975 where Mrs Indra Gandhi also attended the session. [3]

Sector 70 is situated on Himalaya Marg, on Chandigarh-Sohana road and Mohali Bypass road. It is well connected with road, rail and air. The nearest airports are Chandigarh Airport and railway station at Industrial Area - Phase 9. It is entry point from all sides of Punjab towards Mohali Bus Stand. Auto rickshaw are easily available for commuting. A few CTU local buses also available connecting PGI and Landran. [7]

She is Former Chairperson of Punjab State Women Commission, Chairperson of Panchayat Mahila Shakti Association, Punjab, A scheme sponsored by Govt. of India, Press and Office Secretary of Shiromani Akali Dal. She served as Vice Chairperson of Panchayat Samiti, Kharar from 2008 to 2013.

The N-Choe is a seasonal stream that originates in Chandigarh, India and runs across the Leisure Valley to Kajheri, Mohali Punjab, India, and later merges into the Ghaggar River. The stream runs across Leisure Valley and the PCA Cricket Stadium. It is one of the seasonal rivulets in Chandigarh, which include Sukhna Choe in the East and Patiala Ki Rao in the West. The Choe Nala originates at sector 29 in Chandigarh, Punjab.

Gurdwara Mata Sunder Kaur is a historical site visited by Mata Sundari, Baba Deep Singh and Bhai Mani Singh during their trip to Delhi after the evacuation of Guru Gobind Singh, his family and Khalsa Army from Anandpur Sahib. The Gurdwara is located in Sector 70, Mohali, Punjab. The Gurdwara is controlled by Budha Dal Nihang Sikhs.

Sector 62 is locality, with important administrative buildings located in Mohali, Punjab. Gurdwara Amb Sahib, historical Gurdwara related to Guru Har Rai is situated here. It is covered with Lamba, Sector 69, 63 and Phase 7, Mohali. The only bus stand of Mohali is present in this sector. Various parks includes Dusshera Ground, Sabzi Mandi etc.

Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Inter State Bus Terminus or Mohali Bus Stand is an India's first air conditioned bus station located in the sector 56-57 of Mohali city. It was constructed at a cost of 700 crore (US$88 million) and opened to public on 16 December 2016. It will have 1844 Punjab Roadways buses with 1810 ordinary and 34 super integral coach AC buses.

Sector 56 is residential and entry level sector located in Chandigarh. It is famous for Verka Milk Plant and Dara Studio, owned by Dara Singh. Also the sector have many marriage palaces such as celebration, Libra orchidand motor market. It is covered with Sector 54, 55, 57, Bar Majra. Seasonal Stream Patiali Ki Rao also touches this sector.

Sector 79

Sector 61 is residential sector located in Chandigarh, Punjab. It is covered with Sector 70, Mohali, Sector 71, Mohali, 3B2, Sector 62, Mohali and Sector 52, Chandigarh.

SAS Nagar Mohali railway station is the main railway station in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar district in Punjab. It serves Mohali, the city adjacent to Chandigarh of the Indian state of Punjab.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">New Chandigarh</span> City in Punjab, India

New Chandigarh is a new planned smart city near Mullanpur in the Mohali district in Punjab, India. It has been designed as an extension of the city of Chandigarh. It is being developed by the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority. A digital land survey was started by using a drone on 26 April 2018 and was completed on 24 June 2018. Initial Master of city is divided in sectors numbering 1 to 27.
