History

Seda Vertis North is part of Ayala Land's mixed-used development called Vertis North. The groundbreaking for Vertis North's commercial phase which includes the hotel took place in late 2013. The facility was meant to be built as a "city-center type" of hotel. [2] It is part of the Seda Hotel chain of AyalaLand Hotels and Resorts of Ayala Land which was established in 2012. [3]

The Seda Vertis North, started partial operations on April 23, 2017 when it had its soft opening. [4] It became the sixth hotel under the Seda hotel chain. [5] It had its grand opening, months later, on October 11, 2017. [6]

Facilities

Seda Vertis North operates inside a 24-storey building [7] and has 438 rooms. [8] Its rooms are categorized as either deluxe rooms, club Rooms, premier rooms, and suites. The hotel features the 160 m2 (1,700 sq ft) Presidential Suite which is often booked by business executives. [9]

Other facilities include a 700 m2 (7,500 sq ft) ballroom and a 390 m2 (4,200 sq ft) pool with a bar. The hotel also host a 250-person-capacity Italian-Japanese-Filipino restaurant called Misto and the Straight Up Roofdeck bar. [10]

The hotel building of Seda Vertis North received a LEED-Gold certification in 2019 for its green building design and operation standards. [8] The hotel's facilities and services have also been given a five-star rating by the Department of Tourism based on its National Accommodation Standards for hotels within the first year of Seda Vertis North's operation. Parklinks is a 35-hectare (86-acre) mixed-use development that straddles the Pasig–Quezon City boundaries in the Philippines. It is a joint project of LT Group and Ayala Land located on the banks of the Marikina River in the eastern part of Metro Manila. The riverfront development is the biggest along the segment of C-5 Road north of the Pasig River and is planned to contain a 3-hectare (7.4-acre) central urban park, an esplanade, river terrace, riparian gardens and bike trails designed to make it one of the greenest urban estates in the Manila metropolitan area.

Bridgetowne is a real estate development spanning the border of Pasig and Quezon City in Metro Manila, the Philippines. Tutuban Center Place

Tutuban Center is a shopping complex and public transit hub in Manila, the Philippines that opened in 1993. It encompasses five retail buildings and a parking building in and around Manila's central train station located in the shopping precinct of Divisoria in Tondo district. The 20-hectare (49-acre) mixed-use development includes the original two-story brick and iron main terminal building of the Ferrocaril de Manila-Dagupan built in 1887, a declared national historical building by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines since 1934. It also includes the Bonifacio Plaza fronting the old terminal building on Recto Avenue where a statue of Andrés Bonifacio was erected in 1971. Its integrated mall complex houses a mix of wholesale and retail bazaars and covers only 8.5 hectares of the total 20-hectare development. The complex will house the interchange station between the proposed North–South Commuter Railway and an extension of the Manila Light Rail Transit System Line 2 according to the masterplan submitted by the Japan International Cooperation Agency in 2015. Its redevelopment plan also entails the construction of several mixed-use buildings, including office towers, residential buildings, hotels, a convention center, and a 300-metre (980 ft)-high observation tower to be known as the Tower of Maynila.

Seda is a Philippine brand of hotels owned and operated by Ayala Land Hotels and Resorts, a subsidiary of Ayala Corporation. The first hotel under the Seda brand began operations in 2012 with the opening of Seda BGC at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines. The hotel chain has 11 branches as of 2020, all located in the Philippines.
