Serbian-Emirati relations are foreign relations between Serbia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). SFR Yugoslavia established diplomatic relations with the United Arab Emirates in 1971. Serbia {republic of ex yugoslavia} also has a commercial section in Dubai. The UAE are represented in Serbia by their embassy in Belgrade.
The United Arab Emirates is a high-income developing market economy. The UAE's economy is the 2nd largest in the Middle East, with a gross domestic product (GDP) of US$415 billion in 2021-2023.
Jat Airways was the national flag carrier and largest airline of Yugoslavia and later Serbia and Montenegro and Serbia. Founded in 1927 as Aeroput, the airline ceased operations during World War II. After resuming flights in 1947, the airline was renamed Jugoslovenski Aerotransport on 1 April 1947. The airline was renamed again on 8 August 2003. Jat Airways and their predecessors were one of the oldest airlines still in operation. Flight operations were based at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, and the airline operated scheduled services to 72 international destinations, outside the areas formerly part of Yugoslavia, as well as charters and wet leases. Jat Airways was owned by the government of Serbia and had 1,250 employees.
Zayed International Airport also known as Abu Dhabi International Airport is the primary international airport serving Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. It is the second busiest airport in the UAE after Dubai International Airport, and is the hub of Etihad Airways, the UAE's second flag carrier, as well as Wizz Air Abu Dhabi and Air Arabia Abu Dhabi.
Etihad Airways is the national airline of the United Arab Emirates and of the two major airlines in the country. Its head office is in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi, near Abu Dhabi International Airport. The airline commenced operations in November 2003, and is the second-largest airline in the UAE after Emirates. The name Etihad is the Arabic word for 'Union'.
The United Arab Emirates has quite a close and friendly relationship with the US, being described as the United States' best counter-terrorism ally in the Gulf by Richard A. Clarke, the U.S. national security advisor and counter-terrorism expert. In terms of defense, the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces has been nicknamed "Little Sparta" by United States Armed Forces generals and former U.S. Secretary of Defense James Mattis for its active role against extremists in the Middle East. The United Arab Emirates also hosts the only United States border preclearance in the Middle East.
The relationship between the Russian Federation and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) stretches back to December 1971, when the Soviet Union and UAE broke off diplomatic relations. Relations between the two countries have been described as tense and a "somewhat strategic partnership", with the countries cooperating closely in Iraq, Egypt and Libya.
Greek-Emirati relations are foreign relations between Greece and the United Arab Emirates. Greece established diplomatic relations with the United Arab Emirates in the first years of the state's independence, and opened an embassy in Abu Dhabi in 1989. The UAE-UK relations have been described as a "special relationship".
The visa policy of the United Arab Emirates allows citizens of certain countries to enter the United Arab Emirates without a visa.
Citizens of certain other countries must obtain a visa from one of the UAE diplomatic missions.
Alternatively, they may obtain an online visa through Smart Service or airlines.
All visitors must have a passport valid for at least 6 months, or 3 months if holding a residence permit. Citizens of Gulf Cooperation Council countries need only show a government-issued ID card.
Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is an Emirati businessman and managing director of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. He is a member of the Al Nahyan, ruling family of Abu Dhabi.

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi is an Emirati low-cost airline. Created in October 2019 by Etihad Airways as a joint venture with Air Arabia to expand into the growing low-cost market, it launched operations in July 2020. The airline is based out of Zayed International Airport.
