Sergio Hudson is an American fashion designer.
Hudson was born and brought up in Ridgeway, South Carolina. [1] His sister was a model. He studied fashion at Bauder College.
In 2013, Hudson won Bravo TV's "Styled to Rock" fashion competition show. The $100,000 prize allow him to launch his eponymous label the following year.
The designer made his New York Fashion Week debut in September 2020. [2] For his Spring/Summer 2022 collection, he collaborated with a number of veteran models including Beverly Johnson and Veronica Webb. [3] [4]
He is best known for dressing Vice President Kamala Harris and Michelle Obama during the 2021 US presidential inauguration proceeding, [5] with both outfits making headlines, [6] [7] [8] although it wasn't the first time Michella Obama donned his clothes. [9] He has also dressed a number of celebrities including Beyoncé, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Tiffany Haddish, and Issa Rae. [10]
His ready-to-wear brand has since been picked up by numerous luxury fashion retailers including Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus. [10]

André Leon Talley was an American fashion journalist, stylist, creative director, and editor-at-large of Vogue magazine. He was the magazine's fashion news director from 1983 to 1987, its first African-American male creative director from 1988 to 1995, and then its editor-at-large from 1998 to 2013. Often regarded as a fashion icon, he was known for supporting emerging designers and advocating for diversity in the fashion industry; while the capes, kaftans, and robes he wore became his trademark look. Talley also served on the judging panel for America's Next Top Model.
Peter Som is a Chinese American fashion designer. He was creative director for Bill Bass and creative consultant for Tommy Hilfiger, where he designed the women’s wear collection, prior to founding his eponymous label. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Peter Som graduated from Connecticut College in 1993 with a degree in art history. He continued his studies at the Parsons School of Design where he apprenticed with American designers, Michael Kors and Calvin Klein. At Parsons, his talent was recognized through competitions; he won and was presented with the Parsons Gold Thimble Award by Isaac Mizrahi.
Jason Wu is a Taiwanese-Canadian artist and fashion designer based in New York City. Born in Taiwan and raised in Vancouver, he studied fashion design at Parsons School of Design, and trained under Narciso Rodriguez before launching his own line.
