Academics
Serra Catholic offers a rigorous, college preparatory curriculum for all students. All courses are assigned a level, which determines how the grade is included in the student’s GPA, QPA, or both. The levels include Level 1 (academic course with support), Level 3 (academic course), Level 5 (honors level course), Level 7 (college credit course), and Level 8 (non-academic course). [3]
The students at Serra Catholic participate in a variety of testing programs throughout their high school career. Incoming ninth grade students take the STS High School Placement Test, which helps determine the best courses to fit their academic needs. Students in both ninth and tenth grades take the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills during the school year. Students in tenth and eleventh grades prepare for the SAT exams by taking the Practice Scholastic Aptitude Test. By twelfth grade, 100% of students take the SAT exam and 15% of students take the ACT exam. [4]
Serra Catholic is accredited through the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. [5] In addition, in September 2012, the school became a recipient of the Catholic High School Honor Roll, by the Cardinal Newman Society. [6] As such, Serra is listed as one of the Top 50 Catholic High Schools in the United States. [7]
College in High School (CHS) Program
Serra Catholic offers a wide variety of college-level courses for students through four local colleges and universities. A total of 70 College In High School Credits are available. [8] Many students are able to earn 24 college credits or more prior to graduation. Some students enter college with advanced standing as sophomores, based upon the college courses successfully completed at Serra. In addition to the college and university courses offered, two partnering schools, Seton Hill University and Saint Vincent College, have written agreements with Serra Catholic to guarantee that Serra Catholic students will be accepted into their colleges, if various academic criteria are met. Advanced Placement (AP) is a program in the United States and Canada created by the College Board. AP offers undergraduate university-level curricula and examinations to high school students. Colleges and universities in the US and elsewhere may grant placement and course credit to students who obtain qualifying scores on the examinations.
Apponequet Regional High School, located at 100 Howland Road in Lakeville, Massachusetts opened September 21, 1959. Apponequet serves secondary academic education students from the towns of Freetown, and Lakeville. It is the only high school within the Freetown-Lakeville Regional School District.
The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is an English language based secondary qualification similar to the GCSE and is recognised in the United Kingdom as being equivalent to the GCSE for the purposes of recognising prior attainment. It was developed by Cambridge Assessment International Education. The examination boards Edexcel, Learning Resource Network (LRN), and Oxford AQA also offer their own versions of International GCSEs. Students normally begin studying the syllabus at the beginning of Year 10 and take the test at the end of Year 11. However, in some international schools, students can begin studying the syllabus at the beginning of Year 9 and take the test at the end of Year 10.
Kellenberg Memorial High School is a Roman Catholic college-preparatory school in Uniondale, New York, on Long Island, United States. Kellenberg Memorial is a Marianist school on Long Island, alongside St. Martin de Porres Marianist School in Uniondale and Chaminade High School in Mineola, New York.
Central Catholic High School is a private, Roman Catholic, Lasallian, all-boys college preparatory school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. It is a part of the Diocese of Pittsburgh. The De La Salle Brothers administer and partially staff the school.

Seton Catholic Central is a private Roman Catholic school located on the Westside of Binghamton, New York. It is run by the Catholic Schools of Broome County, which is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse. The school was ranked 14 out of 100 of the best Catholic schools in New York State by Niche in 2016.
Bishop Shanahan High School is located in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. It's part of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia's Catholic school system. Named after Right Rev. John W. Shanahan, the third bishop of Harrisburg, the school is the only archdiocesan high school in Chester County. Construction of the current building began in 1996. It opened in 1998, and the first class graduated from it in 1999. The school had previously been located in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Monarch High School (MHS) is a public high school located in Coconut Creek, Florida. Monarch is a part of the Broward County Public Schools system, and serves neighborhoods in: Coconut Creek, Deerfield Beach, Margate, and Pompano Beach.

The school sits on a 40-acre wooded campus in the Michigan Park neighborhood of the city's Northeast quadrant. It is run by the Benedictine monks of Saint Anselm's Abbey.

QSI International School of Astana is a branch of Quality Schools International located in Astana, Kazakhstan. QSI Astana was founded in 2005 as a non-profit, private institution. QSI International School of Astana has an English language of instruction; it offers a curriculum taught entirely in English from elementary school to secondary school. In 2013 a new facility completed construction. The facility contains 32 classrooms, 3 computer labs, an auditorium, gymnasium, cafeteria, library, outdoor soccer field and basketball court, and several playgrounds. Classes range from Preschool to High School level.
