Ministry of Sound Sessions Six is a dance music compilation album and the sixth installment of the Ministry of Sound Australia "sessions" series. The album consists of 61 tracks spread across three discs, and was the first of the Sessions compilations to contain three discs. By contrast, the previous album in the series had two discs.

Disc one was mixed by William 'Goodwill' Rappaport, Disc two was mixed by Tommy Trash and Disc three was mixed by Dirty South. Remixes of tracks by notable artists on the compilation include The Presets, Calvin Harris, Lady Sovereign, Lily Allen, La Roux, The Ting Tings and The All-American Rejects. [1] "Sessions Six" finished 2009 with the second position in the ARIA 2009 End Of Year Top 50 Dance Albums Charts [2] and in fourth position of the ARIA Top 50 Compilations Chart of 2009. [3]

The album features The Potbelleez for the only time in the Sessions series. It also contains the second appearance for Goodwill, who would also feature in Sessions Six.

This was the first appearance for Sam La More but the third appearance for Tommy Trash, who appeared in Ministry of Sound Sessions Six and Sessions Seven. Disc one was mixed by La More and disc two by Trash. Sessions Eight finished 2011 at number five on the ARIA 2011 End-of-Year Top 50 Dance Albums Chart and number ten on the ARIA Top 50 Compilations Chart.

His first single to chart in a country was "Get Dumb", a collaboration fellow Swedish House Mafia members Axwell and Steve Angello, and frequent collaborator Laidback Luke. The song, included in Swedish House Mafia's debut studio album Until One, charted in the Netherlands at number 45. Ingrosso's debut single was released in 2004, titled "Yo Yo Kidz", with Angello.
