The University of Cape Coast is a public collegiate university located in the historic town of Cape Coast. The campus has a rare seafront and sits on a hill overlooking the wide Atlantic Ocean. It operates on two campuses:the Southern Campus and the Northern Campus. Two of the most important historical sites in Ghana,Elmina and Cape Coast Castle,are a few kilometres away from its campus.
John Dramani Mahama is a Ghanaian politician who served as President of Ghana from 24 July 2012 to 7 January 2017. He previously served as Vice President of Ghana from January 2009 to July 2012,and took office as president on 24 July 2012 following the death of his predecessor John Evans Fiifi Attah Mills. Mahama is a communication expert,historian,and writer. A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC),he was Member of Parliament for Bole Bamboi from 1997 to 2009 and served as Deputy Minister for Communication between 1997 and 1998 before becoming the substantive Minister for Communications from 1998 to. Dramani is the first vice president to take over the presidency from the death of his predecessor,John Evans Atta Mills,and is the first head of state of Ghana to have been born after Ghana's independence. He was elected after December 2012 election to serve as full-time President. He contested re-election for a second term in the 2016 election,but lost to the New Patriotic Party candidate Nana Akufo-Addo,in 2012. This made him the first President in the history of Ghana to not have won a second term.

The Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management Act,2003 (FRBMA) is an Act of the Parliament of India to institutionalize financial discipline,reduce India's fiscal deficit,improve macroeconomic management and the overall management of the public funds by moving towards a balanced budget and strengthen fiscal prudence. The main purpose was to eliminate revenue deficit of the country and bring down the fiscal deficit to a manageable 3% of the GDP by March 2008. However,due to the 2007 international financial crisis,the deadlines for the implementation of the targets in the act was initially postponed and subsequently suspended in 2009. In 2011,given the process of ongoing recovery,Economic Advisory Council publicly advised the Government of India to reconsider reinstating the provisions of the FRBMA. N. K. He won a second term on 9 December 2020 in a tightly contested race against National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate and former president,John Mahama.
Daniel Yaw Domelevo is a Ghanaian accountant who currently serves as a Board member of the Global Fund. He is a former Auditor-General of Ghana. He was appointed by John Dramani Mahama in 2016 to replace Richard Quartei Quartey who had retired from Public service. He won the 2019 Integrity Personality Award at the 2019 Ghana Integrity Initiative awards.
