Setia is a District of Southwest Aceh Regency in Aceh Province, Indonesia. [1]

West Aceh Regency is a regency in the Aceh special region of Indonesia. It is located on the island of Sumatra. The regency currently covers an area of 2,927.95 square kilometres and had a population of 173,558 at the 2010 Census and 198,736 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 202,858. The town of Meulaboh remains the seat of the regency government. The regency is a palm oil-producing area. Some of the people of the regency are Minangkabau-descended Aneuk Jamee.
Great Aceh Regency is a regency of the Indonesian province of Aceh. The regency covers an area of 2,903.49 square kilometres and had a population of 351,418 at the 2010 Census and 405,535 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 414,490. The Regency is located at the northwest tip of Sumatra island and surrounds the provincial capital of Banda Aceh, many suburbs of which lie within the Regency. It also includes a number of islands off the northern tip of Sumatra, which comprise Pulo Aceh District within the regency. The seat of the Regency government is the town of Jantho.
In Indonesia, village or subdistrict is the fourth-level subdivision and the smallest administrative division of Indonesia below a district, regency/city, and province. There are a number of names and types for villages in Indonesia, with desa being the most frequently used for regencies and kelurahan for cities. According to the 2019 report by the Ministry of Home Affairs, there are 8,488 urban villages and 74,953 rural villages in Indonesia. North Aceh Regency contained the highest number of rural villages (852) amongst all of the regencies of Indonesia, followed by Pidie Regency with 730 rural villages and Bireuen Regency with 609 rural villages. Prabumulih, with only 12 rural villages, contained the fewest. Counted together, the sixteen regencies of Indonesia containing the most rural villages—namely, North Aceh (852), Pidie (730), Bireuen (609), Aceh Besar (604), Tolikara (541), East Aceh (513), Yahukimo (510), Purworejo (469), Lamongan (462), South Nias (459), Kebumen (449), Garut (421), Bojonegoro (419), Bogor (416), Cirebon (412), and Pati (401)—contain one-third of all the rural villages in Indonesia. Five of these are located in Aceh, two in Highland Papua, three in Central Java, two in East Java, three in West Java, and one in North Sumatra. An average number of rural villages in the regencies and 15 cities of Indonesia is 172 villages.
Lhokseumawe, is the third largest city in Aceh province, Indonesia. The city covers an area of 181.06 square kilometres, and had a population of 171,163 at the 2010 census and 188,713 at the 2020 census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 191,396. The city is a key regional centre important for the economy of Aceh.
Gayo Lues Regency is a regency in the Aceh Special Region of Indonesia. It is located on the island of Sumatra. The regency was created on 10 April 2002 under Statute UU 4/2002 from the northern part of Aceh Tenggara. Its capital is Blangkejeren. The regency covers an area of 5,549.91 square kilometres and had a population of 79,560 at the 2010 Census and 99,532 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 103,131. Along with the Central Aceh Regency and the Bener Meriah Regency, it is home to the Gayo people.
Pidie Regency is a regency of Aceh Special region, in Indonesia. It is located in the north of the island of Sumatra, in Western Indonesia, bordered by the Malacca Strait and Pidie Jaya Regency in the north, Aceh Besar Regency in the west, Bireuen Regency in the northeast, and Aceh Jaya Regency in the south. The regency covers an area of 3,184.45 square kilometres and had a population of 379,108 people at the 2010 Census and 435,275 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 444,505 - comprising 220,536 males and 223,969 females. Pidie was the largest rice-producing area of Aceh province, producing some 20% of its total output.
North Aceh Regency is a regency in Aceh Province - which was formerly called the Aceh special territory in 1959–2001), and then Nanggroë Aceh Darussalam in 2001–2009), before reverting to Aceh Province in 2009. It is located on the island of Sumatra. The regency covers an area of 3,236.86 square kilometres and had a population of 534,085 at the 2010 census and 602,793 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 614,640. The administrative centre is now at Lhoksukon; this followed the separation in 2001 of the former capital of Lhokseumawe, which was cut out of the regency by Law No. 2 of 2001 on 21 June 2001 to form an independent city.
Central Aceh Regency is a regency in Aceh Special Region of Indonesia. It is located on Sumatra island. Formerly this regency covered a much larger area; in 1969, the Southeast Aceh Regency was separated from the Central Aceh Regency, and in 2003 the Bener Meriah Regency was separated from the remaining Central Aceh Regency. The remaining regency covers an area of 4,468.42 square kilometres and had a population of 175,527 according to the 2010 census, which rose to 215,576 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2021 was 222,673 - comprising 112,900 males and 109,773 females. Most of its inhabitants are Gayo. Central Aceh is famous for its Lake Laut Tawar. Its capital is Takengon, in Lut Tawar District.
South Aceh Regency is a regency in the Aceh province of Indonesia. It is located on the west coast of the island of Sumatra. The regency covers an area of 4,173.82 square kilometres and had a population of 202,251 at the 2010 Census and 232,414 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 237,376. The seat of the regency government is at Tapaktuan. Some of the people of the regency are Minangkabau-descended Aneuk Jamee.
Aceh Tamiang Regency is a regency in the east of Aceh province of Indonesia, bordering on North Sumatra Province to the east. It is located on the island of Sumatra. The regency covers an area of 1,957.02 square kilometres and had a population of 251,914 people at the 2010 census and 294,356 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 301,492 - comprising 152,937 males and 148,555 females. The seat of the regency government is at the town of Karang Baru.
Southeast Aceh Regency is a regency in the Aceh province of Indonesia. It is located on the island of Sumatra. In 1974, the Southeast Aceh Regency was created by being separated from the Central Aceh Regency; however in 2002 the northern part of this regency was itself split away to form the new Gayo Lues Regency. The regency now covers an area of 4,242.04 square kilometres and had a population of 179,010 at the 2010 census and 220,860 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 228,308. The seat of the regency government is at the town of Kutacane.
Southwest Aceh Regency is a regency in the Aceh Province of Indonesia. The regency was created on 10 April 2002 from the northwestern districts of South Aceh Regency. It is located on the west side of the island of Sumatra. The regency covers an area of 1,882.99 square kilometres and according to the 2010 census had a population of 126,036; this rose to 140,366 at the 2015 Census, and to 150,775 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 155,046. The seat of the regency government is at Blangpidie.
Blangpidie or Blang Pidie is a town in the Aceh province of Indonesia and it is the capital of Southwest Aceh Regency. Blangpidie is located on the west coast of Sumatra island and the main Banda Aceh — Medan road passes through the town.
Teuku Umar University is an Indonesian public university in Meulaboh, West Aceh Regency. Starting from a foundation in 1984, it became a university in 2006 and was nationalized to form the current public university in 2014.
