The Seychelles women's national volleyball team represents Seychelles in international competitions in women's volleyball. The squad's biggest win was the gold medal at the 2001 edition of the African Championship.

Cuba have attained two silver and two bronze World Championship medals and have won the NORCECA Championship 15 times.

The National team's biggest success came in 1981, winning the European title at home in Sofia.
The China women's national volleyball team represents the People's Republic of China in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches governed by Chinese Volleyball Association. They are one of the leading and most successful squads in women's international volleyball, having won ten championships titles in the three major international competitions of volleyball, including five World Cups, two World Championships and three Olympic titles. The current head coach is Cai Bin.
The South Korea men's national volleyball team represents South Korea in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches. The Republic of Korea (ROK) has competed in the Olympic Games eight times, but has not featured since the Sydney 2000 Games. The team's best performance at the Olympic Games was 5th place at the 1984 Games in Los Angeles, California, United States. The national team at the Asian Championship winner four gold medal in 1989 Seoul, 1993 Nakhon Ratchasima, 2001 Changwon and 2003 Tianjin. This performance did not come close to matching their best FIVB World Championship finish of fourth in 1978, when they lost to Cuba in the bronze medal match.
The Tunisia men's national volleyball team, nicknamed Les Aigles de Carthage , represents Tunisia in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches. The team is one of the leading nations in men's volleyball on the African continent, having won a medal in every continental championship they participated since 1967. Eleven-time African Championship winners, Tunisia have participated in seven Olympics, with a best finish of ninth at Los Angeles 1984.
The Mexico women's national volleyball team participates in international volleyball competitions.
Thailand participated in the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China between 12–27 November 2010. The National Olympic Committee of Thailand sent 593 athletes to Guangzhou, and competed in 39 out of 42 sports. Thailand ended the games at 52 overall medals including 11 gold medals. These games witnessed first ever gold medals in Taekwondo.

Seychelles competed at the 2019 African Games held from 19 to 31 August 2019 in Rabat, Morocco. In total, athletes representing Seychelles won one gold medal, one silver medal and two bronze medals and the country finished 18th in the medal table. All medals were won in swimming by Felicity Passon. Passon also served as flag bearer at the opening ceremony of the 2019 African Games.
