Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is an Indian right-wing,Hindu nationalist volunteer paramilitary organisation. It is the progenitor and leader of a large body of organisations called the Sangh Parivar,which has developed a presence in all facets of Indian society and includes the Bharatiya Janata Party,the ruling political party under Narendra Modi,the 14th prime minister of India. Mohan Bhagwat has served as the Sarsanghchalak of the RSS since March 2009.
The Bharatiya Janata Party is a political party in India and one of the two major Indian political parties alongside the Indian National Congress. Since 2014,it has been the ruling political party in India under the incumbent Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The BJP is aligned with right-wing politics and has close ideological and organisational links to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS),a far-right paramilitary organisation. Its policies adhere to Hindutva,a Hindu nationalist ideology. As of January 2024,it is the country's biggest political party in terms of representation in the Parliament of India as well as state legislatures.
The Akhil Bharatiya Jana Sangh (abbreviated asBJS or JS,short name:Jan Sangh,was an Indian nationalist political party. This party was established on 21 October 1951 in Delhi,that existed from 1951 to 1977. Its three founding members were Shyama Prasad Mukherjee,Balraj Madhok and Deendayal Upadhyaya. Jan Sangh was the political arm of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh,a Hindu nationalist volunteer organisation. In 1977,it merged with several other left,centre and right parties opposed to the Indian National Congress and formed the Janata Party. In 1980,the members of erstwhile Jan Sangh quit the Janata party after the defeat in the 1980 general elections and formed the Bharatiya Janata Party,which is the direct political successor to the Jan Sangh.
The Sangh Parivar refers,as an umbrella term,to the collection of Hindutva organisations spawned by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS),which remain affiliated to it. These include the political party Bharatiya Janata Party,religious organisation Vishva Hindu Parishad,students union Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP),religious militant organisation Bajrang Dal that forms the youth wing of the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP),and the worker's union Bharatiya Kisan Sangh. It is also often taken to include allied organisations such as the Shiv Sena,which share the ideology of the RSS.
Keshubhai Patel was an Indian politician who was the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 1995 and again from 1998 to 2001. He was a six-time member of Gujarat Legislative Assembly. He was a member of RSS since 1940s,of Bharatiya Jana Sangh in 1960s,Janata Party in 1970s,and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from 1980. He left the BJP in 2012 and formed the Gujarat Parivartan Party. He was elected from Visavadar in the 2012 state assembly election but resigned in 2014 due to ill health and merged his party with BJP. He was awarded India's third highest civilian award the Padma Bhushan posthumously in 2021.
Adaguru Huchegowda Vishwanath is an Indian politician from Karnataka state. He is a leader of Indian National Congress. He is a Nominated Member of Karnataka Legislative Council. He was the former president of Karnataka unit of the Janata Dal (Secular).
Basangouda Ramangouda Patil Yatnal is an Indian Bharatiya Janata Party politician and Hindu leader who was the Minister of state for Textiles from 1 July 2002 to 8 September 2003 and Minister of state for Railways from 8 September 2003 to 16 May 2004 and current MLA from Bijapur City Assembly constituency since 2018. He has been a member of parliament from the Bijapur constituency for two terms and has been a member of the legislative council from the Bijapur Local Authorities constituency for one term.

It focuses on the welfare activities of members of Scheduled Tribes in remote areas of India. The organization is a constituent of the Sangh Parivar,the family of organisations affiliated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh,(RSS).
The Bharatiya Kisan Sangh (BKS) is an Indian farmers' organization that is politically linked to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. BKS was founded by Dattopant Thengadi in 1978. As of 2000,Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh claimed BKS had a quarter million members,organized in 11,000 villages and 301 districts across the country. The organization is dominated by landed gentry.
Shobha Karandlaje is an Indian politician from Karnataka who is currently the Minister of State for Ministry of Labour and Employment, Ministry of Micro,Small and Medium Enterprises in the Third Modi Ministry. She was also Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister of State for Food Processing Industries in the Second Modi ministry. Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala is an Indian statesman who was the 12th Governor of Karnataka from 1 September 2014 to 6 July 2021. He is also the longest-serving governor for Karnataka after Khurshed Alam Khan.
