Background

This album was released a year after the band's debut EP Edge of Reality was released. Before the announcement, the band toured with Metalcore band Eyes Set to Kill in the Arizona, US. [4] In November 2013, the band signed with Tragic Hero Records and announced that they will be releasing an album sometime in 2014. [5] and In December 2013. they began recording songs with Andrew Wade. [6]

The album was announced by the band a month prior to its release on May 16 and stated that the album would be released on July 1, 2014 through Tragic Hero Records. [7]

Promotion

"My Only Regret" was released as the debut single off the album on May 16, 2014, along with its lyric video. [8] The second single "Shapeshifter" was released on June 3, 2014. [9] The third single "Bats In the Belfry" was released on June 21, 2014. [10] and the band premiered a music video for "Deer In the Headlights" on November 7, 2014. [11]

Tour

In support of the album, The band embarked on ShapeshifTour, which took place from June 20 to July 26, 2014. Support for the tour included The Relapse Symphony, Myka Relocate, and Nightmares. for the 28-date summer trek. [12]

Shapeshifter was met with positive reception by critics. In a four-star review for Revolver , David McKenna averring, "Fans of post-hardcore will definitely want to check this album out." [13]

His Last Walk is the debut full-length album by American metalcore band Blessthefall, released April 10, 2007. It is the only release by the band to feature original vocalist, Craig Mabbitt, who would later be replaced by Beau Bokan. The album was released before Blessthefall started to play on the Taste of Chaos tour. Four singles were released for the album: "Higinia", "Guys Like You Make Us Look Bad", "A Message to the Unknown", and "Rise Up". The last song, "His Last Walk", features a bonus song called "Purple Dog", which is a joke song made by the band members in which all members sing the song and clap their hands.

Escape the Fate is the third studio album by American post-hardcore band Escape the Fate. It was released worldwide on November 2, 2010. It is the band's first and only album released on DGC/Interscope following their departure from Epitaph Records. The band is a side project of Escape the Fate's lead vocalist, Craig Mabbitt and rhythm guitarist TJ Bell, and currently signed to Tragic Hero Records. The Dead Rabbitt's debut EP, Edge of Reality, was released on October 19, 2012 for people who purchased the album through PledgeMusic, and October 30, 2012 in the iTunes Store. The band's second EP, Break the Static, was released on December 6, 2019. The band's debut album, Shapeshifter, was released on July 1, 2014. The album debuted at No. 127 on the Billboard 200, The band's second studio album, This Emptiness, was released on April 14, 2017.

Ungrateful is the fourth studio album by American rock band Escape the Fate. Several of the tracks on the album were produced by John Feldmann, who also produced the band's second album This War Is Ours; however, other tracks were either produced by Brandon Saller or by the band's lead guitarist Monte Money. It is the only album to feature Michael Money as an official member on rhythm guitar and TJ Bell on bass, as well as the last one with Monte Money. Monte and Michael Money left the band in October 2013 and TJ Bell was moved to rhythm guitar. The album was released on May 14, 2013 through Eleven Seven Music.

A lyric video for the track "Unbreakable" was released on September 6, 2013. On February 21, 2014, the music video for the song "Crazy" was released as well. Akissforjersey is an American post-hardcore band from Pilot Mountain, North Carolina formed in July 2004. The current lineup consists of vocalist Zach Dawson, drummer Joey Allen, guitarists Tyler Lucas and Bob Gassett, and bassist Parker Williams. The band released their debut studio album, Keep Your Head Above the Water, in 2006 through Tragic Hero Records. Their sophomore album Victims was released through Tragic Hero Records again in 2008. They signed to inVogue Records in 2014 and released their third album New Bodies on January 21, 2014. New Bodies was considered a breakthrough release upon the Billboard magazine charts, where it placed on the Heatseekers Albums.

Strawberry Girls is an American rock band from Salinas, California, formed in 2011. The band is currently composed of guitarist Zac Garren, drummer Ben Rosett, and bassist Ian Jennings. All three members are multi-instrumentalists and record producers.
