Shashogo is one of the woredas in the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Hadiya Zone, Shashogo is bordered on the south by the Kembata Tembaro Zone, on the west by Limo, on the northwest by Ana Lemo, on the northeast by the Silt'e Zone, and on the southeast by the Alaba special woreda.

Demographics

Based on the 2007 Census conducted by the CSA, this woreda has a total population of 103,722, of whom 52,435 are men and 51,287 women; 8,219 or 7.92% of its population are urban dwellers. The majority of the inhabitants were Protestants, with 51.96% of the population reporting that belief, 42.48% were Muslim, and 4.96% practiced Ethiopian Orthodox Christianity. [1]

Kuraz is one of the woredas in the South Ethiopia Regional State. It is the homeland of Daasanach people. Part of the Debub Omo Zone, Kuraz is bordered on the south by Kenya, on the west by the Ilemi Triangle, on the north by Nyangatom, and on the east by Hamer. The Omo River is flowing through Kuraz to Lake Turkana at the border of Kenya. The administrative center of this woreda is Omorate. Nyangatom woreda was separated from Kuraz.

Gedebano Gutazer Welene is one of the woredas in the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Gurage Zone, Gedebano Gutazer Welene is bordered on the south by Muhor Na Aklil, on the west by Kebena, on the north by the Oromia Region, and on the east by Meskane. The administrative center of Gedebano Gutazer Welene is Mehal Amba.

Soddo is one of the woredas in the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region of Ethiopia. This woreda is named after the Soddo Gurage people. It is Part of the Gurage Zone of the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and People's Region. Soddo is bordered on the south by Meskane, and on the west, north and east by the Oromia Region. The administrative center of Soddo is Bue; other towns include Kela.

Silti (ስልጢ) is one of the zones in the Central Ethiopia Regional State of Ethiopia. It is named after a subgroup of the Silt'e people, whose homeland includes this zone. Formerly part of the Gurage Zone, after a referendum held between 18 and 26 April 2001, this woreda became part of the Silt'e Zone. This woreda is bordered on the south by Lanfro and Dalocha, on the southwest by Wulbareg, on the west by Alicho Werero, on the north by the Gurage Zone, and on the east by the Oromia Region. The administrative center of this woreda is Kibet; other towns in Silti include Alkaso, and Werabe. Southwestern part of this woreda was added to Wulbareg woreda.

Lanfro is one of the woredas in the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region of Ethiopia. Until it was included into the Silte Zone, Lanfro formed part of the Gurage Zone. Lanfro is bordered on the south by the Alaba special woreda, on the southwest by Sankurra, on the west by Dalocha, on the north by Silte, and on the east by the Oromia Region. The major town in Lanfro is Torra.

Bensa is one of the woredas in a Sidama Region of Ethiopia.Daye is the capital city of Eastern Sidaama zone that known as Bensa zone occasionally. Bensa is one of popular woreda's in sidaama region.it extends into the Oromia Region like a peninsula, Bensa is bordered on the south and north by the Oromia Region, with Bona Zuria on the west, Arbegona on the northwest, Chire on the east, and Aroresa on the southeast. The major town in Bensa is Daye.

Wenago is one of the woredas in the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Gedeo Zone, Wenago is bordered on the southwest by Yirgachefe, on the northwest by the Oromia Region, on the northeast by Dila Zuria, and on the southeast by Bule. Towns in Wenago include Wenago. Dila Zuria woreda and Dila town were separated from Wenago.

Yirgachefe is one of the woredas in the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region of Ethiopia, named after its major town Yirgachefe. Part of the Gedeo Zone, Yirgachefe is bordered on the south by Kochere, on the west by the Oromia Zone, on the north by Wenago, on the east by Bule, and on the southeast by Gedeb.

Kemba is one of the woredas in the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Gamo Gofa Zone, Kemba is bordered on the southwest by the Debub Omo Zone, on the west by Uba Debretsehay, on the northwest by Zala, on the northeast by Deramalo, on the east by Bonke, and on the southeast by the Dirashe special woreda; the Weito River defines the boundary with Bonke and Dirashe. The major town in this woreda is Kemba.

Suri woreda is a woreda found in Western Omo Zone, in the South Western Ethiopia Peoples' Regional state of Ethiopia. It is named for Suri people, whose homeland lies largely in this woreda. Suri woreda is bordered on the south and west by South Sudan, on the northwest by the Gambela Region dimma woreda, on the north by Bero woreda, on the east by Maji woreda and on the southern part with the new pastoral zone south omo Nyagatom woreda. A portion of the Omo National Park extends into the southern part of this woreda.

Melokoza is one of the woredas in the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Gamo Gofa Zone, Melokoza is bordered on the south by Basketo special woreda, on the southwest by the Debub (South) Omo Zone, on the northwest by the Konta special woreda, on the north by the Dawro Zone, and on the east by Demba Gofa and Geze Gofa; the Omo River defines its northwestern boundary separating the woreda from Konta and the Dawro Zone. The major town in Melokoza is Leha.

Part of the Gurage Zone, Abeshge is bordered on the south by the Wabe River which separates it from Cheha, on the west and north by the Oromia Region, and on the east by Kebena. Mirab Azernet Berbere is one of the woredas in the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region of Ethiopia. This woreda is named after the sub-groups of the Silt'e people. Part of the Silt'e Zone, Mirab Azernet Berbere is bordered on the southwest by the Hadiya Zone, on the northwest by the Gurage Zone, and on the east by Misraq Azernet Berbere. It was part of Limo woreda.

Tembaro Special Woreda is one of the woredas in the Central Ethiopia Regional State of Ethiopia. Tembaro is bordered on the south by the Dawro Zone, on the north by the Hadiya Zone, on the west Hadiya and Dawro on the east by Hadero Tunto, and on the southeast by the Wolayita Zone. Towns in Tembaro include Mudula, Keleta, Ambukuna and Hodo. Tembaro Special Woreda was also formerly called Omo Sheleko woreda. Tembaro Special Woreda become special woreda during the reformation of the former Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region into the new Central Ethiopia Regional State in 19 August 2023. This day is the historical day for Tembaro People.

Hadero Tunto is one of the woredas in the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Kembata Tembaro Zone, Hadero Tunto is bordered on the south by the Wolayita Zone, on the west by Tembaro, on the north by the Hadiya Zone, and on the east by Kacha Bira. Towns in Hadero Tunto include Hadero and Tunto. Hadero Tunto was part of former Omo Sheleko and Kacha Bira woreda. The majority of the population in the woreda is Hadiya nation which accommodates 75 percent of the total population based on 2007 census.

Chere is one of the woredas in the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Sidama Zone Chere is bordered on the south by Aroresa, on the west by Bensa, and on the north and east by the Oromia Region. Chere was separated from Aroresa woreda.

Nyangatom is one of the woredas in the South Ethiopia Regional State. It is named after Nyangatom people who live at this woreda. Part of the Debub Omo Zone, Nyangatom is bordered on the south by Kuraz, on the west by the Ilemi Triangle, on the northwest by the Bench Maji Zone, on the north by Selamago, and on the east by Hamer. The Omo River is flowing along the northern and western border of Nyangatom. Nyangatom was separated from Kuraz woreda.
