The All India Trinamool Congress,colloquially the Trinamool Congress is an Indian political party which is predominantly active in West Bengal. The party is led by Mamata Banerjee,the current Chief Minister of West Bengal,who has led the state since 2011. It is currently the fifth-largest party in the Lok Sabha with 22 seats and the fourth largest party by Number of MLAs. In 2016 the Election Commission recognized TMC as a national political party.
Mamata Banerjee is an Indian politician who is serving as the ninth and current chief minister of the Indian state of West Bengal since 20 May 2011,the first woman to hold the office. Having served many times as a Union Cabinet Minister,Mamata Banerjee became the Chief Minister of West Bengal for the first time in 2011. She founded the All India Trinamool Congress in 1998 after separating from the Indian National Congress,and became its first chairperson. She is often referred to as 'Didi'.

Voting for the two remaining constituencies was delayed and was scheduled to be held on 16 May 2021. Polling in Nandigram took place on 1 April.
