South Korean boy band Shinee have released 56 music videos and 14 video albums, and have additionally appeared in a number of films and television shows. They debuted in 2008 with the release of their first single, "Replay", and its accompanying music video. Since then, they have released music videos for numerous songs, including "Ring Ding Dong" (2009), "Lucifer" (2010), "Sherlock (Clue + Note)" (2012), "Everybody" (2013) and "View" (2015). In 2012, they released a video album showcasing their first concert in Japan, Shinee the 1st Concert in Japan "Shinee World", which ranked number two on the weekly Oricon DVD Chart. They have continued to release video albums for many of their subsequent concert tours. Shinee have appeared in the documentary films I Am (2012) and SM Town: The Stage (2015), and released the concert film My Shinee World in 2023. They have also starred in a number of reality shows, beginning with Shinee's Yunhanam in 2008.

South Korean boyband Super Junior had appeared in 83 music videos, most of which were in starring roles. Some of their music video has received recognition from critics and awarding bodies. The music video for "U", released in 2006, won the Popular Music Video Award at the 2006 edition of Golden Disc Awards. "Sexy, Free & Single" won three accolades; the 2013 Myx Music Awards's Favourite K-Pop Video, the Singapore's e-Awards in the Most Popular Music Video in K-pop category, and Favorite Asian Music Video in You2Play Awards. In 2018, music video for "Black Suit" won the International Video of the Year, also in the Myx Music Awards.

Lee Tae-min, better known mononymously as Taemin, is a South Korean singer and actor. He debuted as a member of the boy band Shinee in May 2008 and the supergroup SuperM in 2019, both under SM Entertainment, and has subsequently been labeled by media outlets as the "Idol's Idol" due to the large number of idols citing him as an inspiration. As an actor, Taemin's first role was as Junsu in the 2009 MBC comedy Tae-Hee, Hye-Kyo, Ji-Hyun.
