As of 1996, the total area of Shizishan Subdistrict was 15.1 km2 (6 sq mi). [3] Including both long-term residents, college students and laborers, the population is estimated to reach 180,000. [1] : 203 

Transportation

Shizishan Subdistrict is served by several stations at the southern terminus of Line 7 (Wuhan Metro). Shizishan Subdistrict is located north of the Third Ring Road.
