Seoul National University is a public research university located in Seoul, South Korea. It is one of the SKY universities and a part of the Flagship Korean National Universities.
Ansan is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It lies southwest of Seoul and is part of the Seoul National Capital Area. It is connected to Seoul by rail via Seoul Subway Line 4. It is situated on the Yellow Sea coast and some islands lie within its jurisdiction. The largest and best-known of these is Daebu Island.
Gwangmyeong is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It borders Seoul to the east, north and northeast, Anyang to the southeast, Siheung to the southwest, and Bucheon to the northeast.
Siheung is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. The city has a population of 511,807 people, where 508,646 are residents out of 218,846 households as of August 2021. Siheung acquired its current administrative structure on January 1, 1989, the former Siheung County was divided into the cities of Siheung, Gunpo, and Uiwang. At the time, Siheung had a population of only 93,000. This number more than tripled in the following decade as massive suburban apartment complexes were developed. Siheung's current area formerly belonged to Incheon and Ansan before 1914.
Geumcheon District is one of the 25 gu (districts) of Seoul, South Korea. It was created from southern parts of Guro District and tiny sections from Gwangmyeong in 1995. Its district office is located in front of Siheung Station, now Geumcheon District Office Station, in Siheung-dong.
Seoksu Station is a station on Seoul Subway Line 1. It is situated on the border of Seoul and Anyang, the station building itself lying in Anyang, hence the address and indeed its name, which is derived from the area of Anyang in which it is located, and the platforms being in Seoul.

Daegok station (Korean: 대곡역) is a station on Seoul Subway Line 3, the Gyeongui–Jungang Line and the Seohae Line. It is located in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It is mainly used as a transfer station between the three lines rather than as an actual enter-and-exit stop, as the station is located in the midst of farmland with very little local resident demand.

Oido station is a subway station on Seoul Subway Line 4 and the Suin–Bundang Line in Siheung, South Korea. It is the current southwestern terminus of Seoul Subway Line 4 located almost 30 kilometers southwest of Seoul, connecting Oido to other parts of Korea. A commuter rail trip between this station and Seoul Station takes over an hour, and a train servicing depot is located nearby. The name of the station was decided by the surrounding area Oido island.
Jeongwang station (Korean: 정왕역) is a station on Seoul Subway Line 4 and the Suin–Bundang Line located in the Jeongwang-dong area of Siheung, South Korea. Its secondary station name is Tech Univ. of Korea. The name of the station originated from the local name.
The Ansan Line is a railway line connecting Gunpo to Siheung in South Korea. Services on this line run through train services into Seoul Subway Line 4 via the Gwacheon Line. Services from the Suin Line share tracks with this line between Hanyang Univ. (Ansan)–Oido.
Neunggok Station is a station on the Gyeongui–Jungang Line and the Seohae Line in South Korea.
The Seohae Line (Korean: 서해선) is a dual-track, electrified rail line in western Gyeonggi-do and Seoul, South Korea. The Seohae Line is being built in four sections simultaneously. The line runs 47 km (29 mi) south from Ilsan in Goyang City, crosses the Han River, passes Gimpo Airport, Sosa, Siheung, and ends in Wonsi in Ansan. There is a transfer to different lines at Daegok, Neunggok, Gimpo Int'l Airport, Bucheon Stadium, Sosa and Choji. There are currently 21 stations (Ilsan-Wonsi). The line is operated by Korail, but the stations between Sosa and Wonsi are managed by SEO HAE RAIL CO.,LTD., which is a subsidiary of Seoul Metro. The infrastructure is also owned by Korail so the line runs on the left like the rest of the South Korean mainline railway network.
Siheung County, alternatively Shihŭng County was a county (gun) in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. This county was abolished in 1989 as its one town(읍) of Sorae and two townships(면) of Gunja and Suam became Siheung City at the same time. Today's Siheung City area did not belong to Siheung County before 1914. The area rather was part of old Incheon or Ansan.
Oido is an area in Siheung, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. As its name suggests, it was previously an island, but land reclamation projects in the 20th century led to it eventually joining the mainland.
