Silvat is an Indian Hindi-language romantic drama short film under the Zeal For Unity festival 2016. It is written by Faraz Arif Ansari and directed by Tanuja Chandra, starring Kartik Aaryan and Meher Mistry in the leading roles. Kartik Aaryan shot this short film while filming Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 . [1]

Plot

Noor, a married woman, falls in love with Anwar, a tailor. However, they never express their feelings as she awaits her husband's return from Riyadh.

Critical reception

Anvita Singh reviewed for The Indian Express said: Silvat is made up of such touching and telling moments, and effectively conveys the pain, tension and little pleasures of first love. [5]

Anita Britto of SpotboyE rated 3 stars out of five and wrote "With a well-written script and immersive narrative, Silvat takes you to another world. A world where no one fights for their love." [6]

Hitesh Malik of Koimoi called "It is one of those films which stays with you for a long time. [7]

Pyaar Ka Punchnama is a 2011 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy buddy film written and directed by newbie Luv Ranjan. The film stars Kartik Aaryan, Divyendu Sharma, Raayo S. Bakhirta, Nushrat Bharucha, Sonnalli Seygall and Ishita Raj Sharma and follows the story of three working bachelors who find girls whom they fall in love with and the twists and turns of the newly developing love stories. It was a sleeper hit at the box office, grossing 175 million (US$2.2 million) worldwide. A standalone sequel Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 was released on 16 October 2015. It was remade in Telugu as Green Signal.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language comedy horror film directed by Anees Bazmee, written by Aakash Kaushik and Farhad Samji, and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banner T-Series Films and Murad Khetani and Anjum Khetani under the banner Cine1 Studios.
