The Berlin Historic District encompasses the ghost town of Berlin in Nye County, Nevada. The town was established in 1897 as part of the Union Mining District after the opening of the Berlin Mine the previous year. The name is a transfer from Berlin, in Germany, the native land of a share of the local prospectors. The town never prospered to the same extent as other boom towns like Tonopah and Goldfield, and declined following the Panic of 1907. The town was largely abandoned by 1911. The site was acquired by the state of Nevada as part of Berlin–Ichthyosaur State Park in 1970.
Mill City Museum is a Minnesota Historical Society museum in Minneapolis. It opened in 2003 built in the ruins of the Washburn "A" Mill next to Mill Ruins Park on the banks of the Mississippi River. The museum focuses on the founding and growth of Minneapolis, especially flour milling and the other industries that used hydropower from Saint Anthony Falls.

Union Bryarly's Mill is a historic flour and grist mill complex and national historic district located at Darkesville, Berkeley County, West Virginia, USA. It encompasses four contributing buildings and two contributing sites. The buildings are the Bryarly Mill, Mansion House, a log smokehouse and combination ice house building, the log miller's house (1751), the site of a distillery and foundation containing archaeological remains. The mill was built about 1835 and is a two-story, three-bay brick building with a gable roof. The Mansion House was built about 1835 and is a two-story, L-shaped frame dwelling on a stone foundation.

The Great Valley Mill, also known as the Old Grist Mill in the Great Valley, is an historic grist mill which is located in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
The Minden Flour Milling Company is a historic flour mill located at 1609 U.S. Highway 395 in Minden, Nevada. Built in 1906, the mill was the largest of five flour mills built in the Carson Valley and is the only one still in existence. The building has a transitional design in two respects, as it reflects the change from early European-influenced mills to 20th-century American mills as well as the move from smaller rural mills to large mills built along railroads. The mill features a masonry bearing-wall style of construction, a concrete foundation considered novel at the time, and well-crafted masonry and woodwork. The operators of the mill had a significant influence on Minden commerce, as they were instrumental in both the extension of the Virginia and Truckee Railroad to the town and the expansion of electric power to the area. By the 1920s, the mill had become "one of the biggest milling concerns in the state"; it could process 100 barrels of flour a day and also produced chicken and cattle feed. The mill operated until the 1960s.
The Paradise Valley Ranger Station, located at 355 S. Main St. in Paradise Valley, serves a district of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest in Humboldt County, northwestern Nevada. It has also been known as the Paradise Valley Guard Station.
Rhodes Mill is a historic structure located in Fertile, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. William Rhodes moved to Fertile Township in Worth County, Iowa from Ontario in 1856. The following year he opened a saw mill along what is now known as the Winnebago River. During the American Civil War he enlisted in the 32nd Iowa Infantry. After he was discharged in 1865 the town of Fertile grew around his mill. Iowa's wheat production increased after the war. Rhodes built a flour mill on the same site in 1868. It had a capacity of 50 barrels of flour per day, and by 1884 he was doing around $10,000 worth of business a year. He and his son remained in business until 1918.
Paradise Farm are historic agricultural and domestic buildings located west of Bellevue, Iowa, United States. Massachusetts native Elbridge Gerry Potter settled near Big Mill Creek in 1842 from Illinois. He arrived here with 500 head of cattle, 40 teams of mules, and money. In addition to this farm he operated a flour mill and sawmill in Bellevue, and established steamboat lines on the Mississippi River at Bellevue, on the Yazoo River in Louisiana and the Red River in Texas.
