Sin and Bones is the fifth album, and third album of all original material, from American heavy metal band Fozzy. It was released on August 14, 2012, through Century Media Records.
Lead singer Chris Jericho commented on the album "It's the typical cliché, but Sin and Bones really is the best thing we've ever done. We've taken the heavy yet ultra-melodic style that has become Fozzy's trademark to the next level and I guarantee these songs will blow all of you away!" [3] [4] At the pre-show to the Metal Hammer Awards on June 11, Fozzy performed a new song set to be on the album called "Sandpaper". During an interview at the 2012 Download Festival, Jericho also stated that the band wanted to make Sin and Bones their "Black Album" in reference to Metallica's critically acclaimed self-titled album that sent them into the mainstream. Sin and Bones premiered at number 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and marks the band's best-selling first week ever for an album of entirely original material. Released on August 14, the album also celebrates the band's first appearance on the Billboard Top 200 chart, where it landed at number 143. Ultimate Guitar declared Fozzy as "one of the best metal bands out there right now", Revolver called Sin and Bones "Fozzy's best album yet", and Metal Hammer UK said, "Sin and Bones is impressive, diverse and mature... this is a masterclass that should take Fozzy on to bigger things".

Fozzy is an American heavy metal band formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1999 by lead guitarist Rich Ward and drummer Frank Fontsere. The band's current lineup consists of vocalist Chris Jericho, Ward, second guitarist Billy Grey, bassist P. J. Farley and drummer Grant Brooks. Jericho has characterized the band by saying, "If Metallica and Journey had a bastard child, it would be Fozzy." As of September 2022, the band has released eight studio albums and one live album. Their first two albums consist of primarily cover songs with some original material, while their albums since have made original material the primary focus.
Stone Sour was an American rock band formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1992. The band performed for five years before disbanding in 1997. They reunited in 2000 and since 2015, the group has consisted of Corey Taylor, Josh Rand (guitar), Christian Martucci (guitar), Johny Chow (bass) and Roy Mayorga (drums). Longtime members Joel Ekman and Shawn Economaki left the band in 2006 and 2011, respectively. Former lead guitarist Jim Root left in 2014. The band has been on an indefinite hiatus since 2020.
Matthew Charles Sanders, known by his stage name M. Shadows, is an American singer and songwriter. He is the lead vocalist and a founding member of heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold. In 2017, Shadows was voted third in the list of Top 25 Greatest Modern Frontmen by Ultimate Guitar.
All That Remains is the third studio album from heavy metal group Fozzy. Unlike the band's two previous albums, All That Remains features all original songs as the band had dropped their spoof in favor of becoming a more recognized band rather than a gimmick, with the members using their actual names instead of stage names. It features Alter Bridge members Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti, Black Label Society's Zakk Wylde, rapper Bone Crusher, and Megadeth guitarist Marty Friedman. A remastered version of All That Remains, entitled All That Remains: Reloaded, was released on March 25, 2008. It is a two-disc set that features the album and a DVD called Live in the UK.
Happenstance is the second studio album by heavy metal band Fozzy. For the album, the band continue with their spoof that they had spent the last 20 years in Japan being megastars and once they returned to America, they realized that many famous artists have ripped off their songs. The album therefore features covers of songs by bands such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, W.A.S.P., Scorpions and Accept. However, the album also features five original songs by Fozzy.
"The Evil That Men Do" is a song by the English heavy metal band Iron Maiden. It is the band's seventeenth single and the second from their seventh studio album, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son (1988). The single debuted at number six in the UK charts and quickly rose to number five. Remains Alive is a live album from the heavy metal band Fozzy containing songs from their entire history as a band. It was released by Riot! Entertainment and was recorded in Brisbane, Australia, during their "Fozzy in Aussie" tour, in 2005. On July 5, 2011, a special edition was released containing Fozzy's 2010 album, Chasing the Grail.

I Am is the fifth studio album by American heavy metal band Becoming the Archetype. The album was recorded between May 21 and June 17 and released on September 18, 2012, through Solid State Records. This album is a departure from the previous effort, as Seth Hecox says, "gone are the sitars and horns of Celestial Completion. Instead, we've crafted an album full of the heaviest and most technical songs we've ever written.” It is the first and only release by the band to feature Chris McCane on vocals, Codey Watkins on bass, and Chris Heaton on drums. Guitarist/vocalist Seth Hecox was the only original member from the debut album featured on I Am. The first single to promote the album was the song "The Time Bender", released on August 28, 2012, as well a lyric video and an official video.

Temper Temper is the fourth studio album by Welsh heavy metal band Bullet for My Valentine. The album was released on 8 February 2013 in Australia, and 11 February 2013 worldwide under RCA Records, their first under the label. The album was once again produced by Don Gilmore, who worked on the group's last album, 2010's Fever, and was mixed by noted engineer Chris Lord-Alge. This would be the last album recorded with their full original lineup with longtime bassist Jason James before he departed from the band in February 2015.

Hail to the King is the only Avenged Sevenfold album to feature drummer Arin Ilejay, prior to his departure in July 2015. Judas is the seventh studio album by the American heavy metal band Fozzy, released on October 13, 2017, through Century Media Records. The album's title track was released as the lead single from the album on May 5, 2017. Ahead of the album release, two additional songs were made available on streaming services: "Drinkin' with Jesus" on September 15, 2017, and "Painless" on September 29, 2017.
The Sin and the Sentence is the eighth studio album by American heavy metal band Trivium. It was released on October 20, 2017, through Roadrunner Records and was produced by Josh Wilbur. The album is the first to feature fifth drummer Alex Bent, who replaced drummer Paul Wandtke. With the release of the album's title track, this album would also mark the return of frontman Matt Heafy's screaming vocals since the band's 2013 album Vengeance Falls, which were completely absent from the band's previous album Silence in the Snow due to an injury which caused Heafy to blow out his voice.
