Iryna Oleksiyivna Merleni, née Melnyk (Мельник), married name Mykulchyn (Микульчин) is a Ukrainian wrestler, who competed in the – 48 kg weight class at the 2004 Summer Olympics and claimed the gold medal. Fiji sent a delegation to compete at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, from 17 July to 1 August 1976. This was the nation's fifth appearance at a Summer Olympic Games. Their first appearance was at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, Australia. Fiji's delegation consisted of two competitors. Tony Moore who made it to the quarter-finals of the 200m sprint and round 1 in the 100m sprint. After not starting in the 400m sprint, he only made the qualification stage of the long jump. The other athlete was Miriama Tuisorisori-Chambault who competed in the women's pentathlon and long jump. She finished 18th overall in the pentathlon and 27th in qualifying for the long jump. She would not start in the 100m hurdles.
Isabella "Belle" Mary Moore, later known by her married name Belle Cameron, was a Scottish competitive swimmer who represented Great Britain in the Olympics.
Rachel Dawson is an American field hockey player. A midfielder / back, she earned her first senior career cap vs Australia on June 5, 2005. Dawson was named to the U.S. field hockey team for the 2008 Summer Olympics and 2012 Summer Olympics, with the team finishing in 8th and 12th respectively.

Alice Annum is a retired Ghanaian sprinter. Her personal best time in the 200 metres was 22.89 seconds, achieved at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. She was the first woman to represent Ghana at the Olympics. Since then, Alice has participated in the 1964 Olympics held in Tokyo, 1968 in Mexico and the 1972 Olympics held in Munich.
Alison Rachel Fitch is a New Zealand swimming competitor. She won a bronze medal in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
Rodica Arba is a retired Romanian rower. She competed at the 1980, 1984 and 1988 Olympics and won two gold, one silver, and one bronze medal. At the world championships she won four gold, one silver and two bronze medals between 1981 and 1987, mostly in coxless pairs.

Kerri Leigh Williams is a New Zealand rower. She is a national champion, an Olympic champion and double medallist, a three-time world champion and a current (2019) world champion in both the coxless pair and the women's eight. Williams was born in Raetihi in 1993. She is of Māori descent, affiliating with Rangitāne iwi. She received her education at Nga Tawa Diocesan School in Marton. The school first started to offer a rowing programme in 2008 and a year later, Williams took this up. At the time, she was also competing as an equestrian but soon started focussing on rowing so much that she had to choose one of the sports. Her trainer told her three weeks after she had started rowing that she would one day represent New Zealand. Jackie Gowler, her younger sister by three years, took up rowing in 2010 inspired by her success; they have both made it into the New Zealand national rowing team. Their elder sister, Jaimee Gowler, remains active with horse riding. After school, Williams became a member of the Aramoho Wanganui Rowing Club.
Marcianne Mukamurenzi is a Rwandan former long-distance runner. She won gold and bronze medals in 10,000 metres at the 1988 and 1989 African Championships in Athletics. She also competed for Rwanda in the 1984, 1988 and 1992 Summer Olympics, never progressing to the finals. She was the first woman to represent Rwanda at the Olympics. In 1991 she set the current Rwandan record in women's 3000 metres with the time of 8:59.90.
Ria Tobing (1938–2017) was an Indonesian swimmer. She competed in the women's 200 metre breaststroke at the 1956 Summer Olympics. She was the first woman to represent Indonesia at the Olympics.
Liliana Tagliaferri is an Italian sprinter who is twice National Champion at 100 metres and competed in the 1948 Summer Olympics and the 1952 Summer Olympics.
