Sipuikawn is a Hmar village in Pherzawl District, Manipur, Northeast India. [2] It is located in south-western hilly region of Manipur bordering the Indian state of Mizoram. [3] It is close to Tipaimukh, the southern tip of the Vangaitang range, where the Tuivai River joins the Barak River. The National Highway 2 (formerly National Highway 150) passes through the village connecting the region to Mizoram and central Manipur. Sipuikawn is also known by its alternate name "Hmarkhawpui".

The Kaladan Road Project is a US$484 million project connecting the eastern Indian seaport of Kolkata with Sittwe seaport in Rakhine State, Myanmar by sea. In Myanmar, it will then link Sittwe seaport to Paletwa in Chin State via the Kaladan river boat route, and then from Paletwa by road to Mizoram state in Northeast India. All components of the project, including Sittwe port and power, river dredging, Paletwa jetty, have been completed, except the under construction Zorinpui-Paletwa road. Originally, the project was scheduled to be completed by 2014, but end-to-end project is expected to be fully operational only by December 2023 as per November 2023 update.

The National Highway 150 runs through this village, hence providing an economic linkage between Mizoram and Manipur. The village lies approximately 10 kilometres from Pherzawl, the district headquarters. The village was established in 1976 and currently holds around 140 houses.

According to the 2016 House Counting Data from the Government of Manipur, Taithu has 211 households where its population is recorded as 1198, with 601 males and 597 females.

Phulpui is a Hmar village in Pherzawl district, Manipur, India. The village stands near the Barak river. A government record puts them at 72 households and has over 390 active voters. Pastor Thangngur's Prayer Cave is from this village.

Sartuinek is a Hmar village in Pherzawl district, Manipur, India. Hringtuinek, a Hmar ethnic cultural site is from this village. The village was established in 1903 and celebrated its centennial in 2003.

Lungthulien is a Hmar village in Pherzawl district, Manipur, India. As of 2011, the village has 304 households. It was in the news in 2006 because the village's inhabitants had faced insurgency-related atrocities. Militants belonging to the United National Liberation Front (UNLF) and the Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) attacked the villagers and extorted cash and goods from them.
